So, I know it's only wrestling. None of it should cause us any anxiety but it does, you know it does.
Here I want to talk about the little things. I'd like this thread to be fun, so preferably no "why Roman is still being pushed", "how out of touch Vince is", etc. etc.
That's why I specify "small things", to limit the scope a bit.
My example (and the cause of this thread):
The Deleter of Worlds/The Deleters of Worlds
Commentary seem to be saying Deleter of Worlds. Last night Bray certainly said Deleters (and it's on the shirt).
As a team name Deleter doesn't make sense. It sounds like it's just one guy. For a team it would be Deleters of Worlds, but that's very clunky and hard to say.
While I'm a big fan of portmanteaus and by extension the portmanteau-ing if wrestling gimmicks, this particular one makes me irrationally anxious. Perhaps because I so much enjoy the kind of thing they're going for but it's a particularly awkward iteration of it.
As you can see, that is way to specific a thing to be anxious about đ. So let me know I'm not alone, what little things are you irrationally anxious about?

Remember Rated RKO?
I remember JR, I think, calling them âTeam Rated RKO,â which was in fact their Survivor Series team name, though JR was only calling duo of Orton and Edge that name.
It just bugged me.

WHY ARE THE INITIALS AROUND THE WRONG WAY ON NICK MILLERâS BOOTS?! I felt the same way with Paul Orndorff's boots/tights when he first came to WWF in 1984, it would always say O.P instead of P.O.

I swear to god, the week or two after Eliasâs name was chopped down to just Elias, Cole called him âElias Samsonâ like 3 or 4 times.
I also remember Lashley getting started a few weeks/months into Smackdown being promoted as just âLashleyâ on his name bar and tron, while Chimmel kept calling him Bobby, but it eventually came back officially.
Canât forget Paul Heymanâs HUGE reveal of his new âguy,â Curtis (er, Curt? Nah, Curtis)Axel.

The way refs would just let opponents' arms drop one time instead of three before calling for the bell in the Masterlock Challenge

The way the tone of Cole's voice downshifts when they're about to go to commercial in mid-match. I know it's probably a standard thing that commentators are trained to do, but I've never heard anyone do it so overtly.
It ruins any sense of him being emotionally invested in what's going on, like he's a robot who switches on Break Mode at the appropriate time.

Despite the fact we hear the word "wrestling" quite a lot on WWE broadcasts, I still go "we got a badass here" whenever someone drops the "W" bomb.

The camera lingering on a smiling face about ten full seconds before a promo actually begins.
Just. Why...?

Ever since the change from wwf to wwe, the logo's been doing my head in. All that needed to be done was to have an extra line on the wwf logo and it'd made perfect sense. Instead of doing that, they erased two and the whole thing's been bloody shambles ever since.

When there's a big spot and the camera does that dumb as hell extreme quick zoom in and zoom out thing. I get it's to make the spot more impactful but half the time it's just way too intense and it just takes me out of the moment.

I don't care about the fans, stop cutting the camera to some jackass in the crowd dancing to New Day's music.

I wouldnât say anxiety. Crazy maybe. The definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Iâve watched WWE for years expecting it to be different. Better in some way. Yet it almost never is.

One recent one was the way they randomly ditched the apron-tron and ring post-trons for TakeOver New Orleans. I'm sure that's the first time they've done that whilst running shows in two different arenas on the same weekend right? The only other time it's been done is at Elimination Chamber for more obvious reasons.
