Yes. I had the majority of my tape collection stolen, my sword, and my weighted clothes. What are weighted clothes? I actually just remembered the house was broken into years ago as well. I was coming home from a friends house and the thief was walking out the door. He actually said, "Hi, how are you" as he went past me and I assumed he was in visiting my parents. He had just tried his luck with the door and found it open and stole a small stereo. Chancing bastard! Weighted clothes are just what they sound like, really. It's a type of exercise clothes made out of a heavy cloth with pockets to place lead weights. The shirt held up to 30 half-lb. weights and the pants up to 60 half-lb. weights. The socks weighed 5 lbs, and there was a mantle for another 50 lbs. They must have thought it was gold, because that was a handful to take.

Yes they have..and the anger you feel in that situation makes me wonder why their isnt more vigilante justice going on.
I truly could have murdered someone.

I was living at my mom's when I was 5. We were the victims of an armed robbery at home. These people were in our house waving guns and tying up any grown up who showed up for about 3-4 hours as they ransacked our place. The only thing they physically did to me was I got hit when one of the guys tossed the couch to look behind/underneath it. He even apologized for hurting me, which really contrasted oddly with their behavior 10 minutes earlier when they threatened my mother with kidnapping me if she didn't tell them where everything was. They eventually left, but I couldn't make myself move for probably 10 minutes, at which time I helped my step-father's brother get untied (he was the closest one to me, since he showed up to visit us about halfway through the robbery. I'm quoting myself to avoid any confusion, but the really aggrivating part of this situation is that this happened to me because my mom and step-father was involved with drugs. I don't know the extent of how much they were involved, but the guys who did it were caught and it turned out that they knew my step-father from work. They came to our place looking primarily for drugs.

My stoner friend says that one of his dealers keeps a stash of heroin laced with some poisonous stuff in his house in case he is broken into.
Thats like taking the explosive dye pack to a new extreme.

Someone broke into my friend's house while he was playing Halflife, stole his carkeys and drove off with his brand new Mustang. LMAO!!! My storage shed was broken into. They stold a (crappy) computer, my GI Joe man and Star Wars figures (extreme bummer) and about 30 empty CD cases. There was some other stuff in bag/boxes which were incidental. The only thing I really remember beign taken was a book. Dude, I am so sorry to hear about the action figure theft. Seriously, that is a major loss. They either could have been worth a lot of money or been priceless memoirs from your childhood.

A friend of mine had his garage broken into....while his family was in the house. They heard a truck idling outside and figured grandpa was checking the fields...come to find out someone loaded up their motorcycles and stole them. They got them back, eventually.......
This coming from a family who never locked their doors because they figured if a theif does come and breaks your door in, now all your shit is gone and you gotta buy a new door.

When my mom did drugs when I was a kid. My moms, dealer's wife, came into my moms house and hit my mom with this ceramic thing in the head (she had to get stiches later) cause she thought her husband (moms dealer) was cheating on her. I was in school and when I got home, first she told me she like fell and hit her head but then like 5 mins later she let me know...
