I do find it funny how the live experience always enhances a show. I took my wife to Wrestlemania weekend and she went to 7 shows with me (Wrestlecon, WWN Supershow, Spring Break, Revolver, ROH, Mania, and Raw) and one of the shows she still talks about is this one. She ranked it as her personal favorite independent show after ROH.
I think it was a combination of the comedy match, someone in the crowd losing their tooth for not paying attention, them actually serving pancakes, and the ladder match from the front row that put it up there for her.
She preferred ROH but that was also because she knows all the wrestlers and storylines. Otherwise I think this would have topped her list.
For me though? I'm kind of in line with you. I had a great time at the show but it wasn't one that was going to leave a long-lasting impression. It wasn't even the best Revolver show I saw that month.
Total sidenote....I thought this show really highlighted the downfall of ACH. He left ROH and took some regular bookings. Now over Mania weekend this was the only place that put him on a show and it went 3 minutes. Guy is a complete afterthought now.

His title reign thus far, has been really lackluster. I had hopes for his match with Lee on this show, and I was really bummed to see it get the treatment it got. That might be more so on the promoter than the wrestlers.
The ladder match was easily the best thing on the show, as was the comedy as you noted. It's likely that my opinion would be different if I was there live. That's happened many times.
