Any word on the AAA show in September? Konnan said on a podcast two weeks ago that it had been cancelled

Any word on the AAA show in September? If it's happening, they'd better start promoting it soon. Maybe they hired Dixie as their PR person.

So ROH just announced that ticket prices would be between $30 to $300. Meltzer actually thought the lowest priced ticket would be in the $80 range just so they break even. I think this honestly makes it really likely that they sell out. 300$ for front row in MSG? That has me seriously considering picking that up

$30-$300? Jesus, at MSG?! I did the cheapest seats I could get at both Long Beach and San Fran for NJPW, and Cow Palace still ran me $40 a pop face value.
I'm not one to go for front row seats, as the only tickets I'd pay $300 for would to a World Series/Stanley Cup Final game where my team was poised to win it all, but this makes it sound like $75 a seat or something could net some decent spots.
Either way, glad I signed up for that month of Honor Club, I need to get all over this on the 8th.

I tried to get World Series tickets in LA last year... they started at $700 in the cheap seats $75 should be a good ticket, especially in MSG. That's a pretty good deal.

The prices plus the attraction of being the first major non-WWE wrestling show at MSG in forever makes me feel very certain that they're going to sell out.

Both this show and NXT head to head with it will sell out. There's going to be close to 100,000 wrestling fans in town that weekend. The biggest fans of that bunch will be at either one show or the other.

With this being most likely the largest attendance ever for ROH, hopefully they don't have an incident broadcasting it on HonorClub like they did with SCOH

Yeah, I'd be stupid to pass up tickets at that price for a megashow in MSG, especially if front row is going to be $300. Now the trick's going to be actually getting them.

Both companies have to be taking this as a loss leader just on the chance of being able to say they sold out MSG.

The probably priced it REEEEEEEALLY F***ing carefully so that if it does sell out, they'll make a few bucks. If not, there's still all of the word of mouth and attention that will draw new subscribers to Honor Club and NJPW World.

It's like going to Best Buy or Target on Black Friday to pick up that gigantic tv for 150 bucks. They're selling that below cost to try toget you to buy a ton of other stuff.

I think this shows Sinclair and Bushiroad are finally serious about taking that next big step. This is a statement of intent. Yup. That’s exactly it. If you sellout, or do a good number, in MSG then people look at you differently as a company. Suddenly you’re a known commodity, and this could very likely lead to better TV deals, merchandising opportunities etc down the road. It’s a smart, calculated risk by both companies that I think will payoff in spades
