I remember getting back into wrestling around 2004 after a few years of very lightly paying attention to it, and around that time in my first year at college I found their Beach Blast match and watched it; to this day I kind of credit it as the match that really introduced me to the concept of storytelling via good selling, with Steamboat working over Rude's ribs.

The good old days when midcard titles had main event level feuds.

The good old days when midcard titles had main event level feuds. Not even the World Titles get that now.

Great feud. I was watching the WCW Saturday Night episode where a couple of women in the crowd accused "The Family Man" Ricky Steamboat of having an affair with them. Of course it was revealed later that they were paid by Paul E.

This feud was incredible. Steamboat's getting killed by Rude, and Sting goes after Paul, and then Koloff goes to help Sting. The entire time, Rude is still killing Steamboat. With friends like those, who needed enemies?

Made me have to watch that Wargames match from Wrestle War '92 again. Such a good match.
