I'm going to rank these from worst to I guess non-annoying?
Alexa Bliss: Jesus Christ. She is Triple H reign of terror overpushed. A five-time champion in the span of NOT EVEN TWO YEARS. Outside of Naomi, every single women who has feuded with Alexa has suffered: Becky Lynch, Bayley, made Sasha Banks look worse, I think even Mickie James has suffered despite teaming with her. Even Nia looks worse now. A heel is supposed to get their comeuppance and Alexa NEVER GETS IT, she is always right. She makes the faces look like idiots and a win over her isn't exactly a big deal because she is always back to holding the Women's Championship. Alexa also wrestles like she's twice her size. Could you imagine if someone like Rey Mysterio wrestled Braun without his speed and agility, but dominated the whole match? Unlike most of the women on this list, Alexa is a horrible wrestler. Everyone always goes on about how she has such good character work and mic skills, when really she's just playing generic mean girl #54. God help us when generic mean girl #57 gets the super push.
Michelle McCool: She was a good wrestler, but my god she was ridiculously overpushed. Like Charlotte, they seemed to give her every accolade that existed at the time. LayCool was when it got so bad, because they steamrolled the entire division. Also, despite not holding the Women's Championship, she got put in the Unification match and won the damn thing. McCool was also awful on the mic, had zero personality and the crowd was always dead for her.
Charlotte: Exactly the same as McCool. Although she can get a reaction out of the crowd and has somewhat of a character. I'm sick of WWE giving her every single accolade.
Nikki Bella: Honestly, I remember absolutely nothing about the women's division in 2015, but her reign is the first of what I remember of WWE making a huge deal out of these stupid long reigns built out of petty.
AJ Lee: Like Trish, she suffered from being in a really crappy division at the time. The feud with Kaitlyn was great. They had good matches, history and chemistry. Problem is, once it ended they decided to have AJ go against every woman on Total Divas. I swear every week AJ got pinned or had her ass kicked by a Total Diva and she ended up winning at the PPV. Then when she feuded with Paige, they both hot potatoed the title and they never clicked in any matches.
Trish Stratus: Even though she won the title seven times, it was in between a space of years (2001 - 2006) and other women actually got the chance to hold the title as well. Unfortunately towards the end of her career, the women's division got worse and Lita getting injured in early 05 sure made things worse. At least she got the stalker angle with Mickie James and it put her over big.

This poll is one of the rare times Alexa is the biggest.

Does AJ's love triangle shit with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan count as part of her push? Because that puts her way ahead of the others. With her skipping around and acting all "OOOH, I'M SO KER-AZY RANDUMB! " She made Eugene and Bayley look respectable.

I voted AJ.
The scene wasn't ready for someone of her talents. But I also found a lot of her gimmick irritating.
McCool I found underrated, Nikki Bella even more so. Trish was great from an early stage and too over to ignore.
I am impressed Kelly Kelly isn't on the list. But people very often underestimate how over she was with women and kids, and did at the time too.

Any push that came immediately following playboy centerfold release. Here's the "she posed nude so she deserves the title and a wrestlemania match."

It warms my heart to see that Trish has no votes.
I’m a big fan of Alexa and Charlotte and think they all justified their pushes so for me it has to be Michelle McCool. She was a great technician but she wasn’t over and her reigns were tedious.

Trish certainly deserves zero votes though. Trish was about where I want to see a women's champion featured. McCool was more just "meh" to me than massively overpushed. I mean yeah she was overpushed but given the Taker connection I at least understood why. Ditto Nikki. I at least got the reason for her laughable overpush (Cena). I would probably put Brie on this list as well given that I probably dislike her as a wrestler more than Nikki.
My vote though? AJ Lee. Dear lord I could not stand her. I am including the whole angle with her and Bryan/Punk here because that is where the overpush started. I recall the one stupid match where she was made the guest ref and thought "Times certainly have changed. In 1989 Elizabeth was distracting Hogan and Savage so the ref ejected her from ringside. Now they would make her the ref!"

I thought AJs push was irritating and unbearable and couldn’t be bothered to watch at the time.

Not that I'm an avid Nikki Bella fan, but do some of you guys remember her reign correctly? She won by cheating a lot more than Alexa

I was torn between Alexa and Nikki. Voted Alexa first on instinct, then ended on Nikki, solely due to how obvious it was that she was just carrying the title longer to erase AJ's reign.

McCool was over during the Laycool stuff. Of course, they booked Laycool as mean girl heels who never really got their comeuppance..... Man, that sounds familiar No she really wasn't. Laycool usually came out to crickets, the one time they did was the Mickie feud. Otherwise crickets. Edit: oh and NXT season 2 with Kaval... but NXT doesn't count That was a tremendous wasted opportunity. I get that Lo-Ki is something of a difficult person to put up with (and therefore his time in the company was likely destined to be short regardless), but the LayCool/Kaval stuff was easily my favorite thing to come out of the NXT competitions (though Season 1 had some great stuff too). I think the bitchy mean girls with a legitimate sweet spot for a no-frills babyface thing worked really well. It humanized Kaval and made him more relatable, he actually played the straight man pretty well (which is saying something because I don't recall him EVER being able to do anything remotely capable on a mic before then), made LayCool more relatable (as in, "You know, they could be cool people to be around if they could ever get those sticks out of their very shapely (mainly referring to Layla) asses"), and was a much more believable "shade of grey" dynamic than the WWE usually could pull off.

Nikki’s was the worst. She only defended the title belt 14 times from when she won it (Survivor Series 2014) to when she finally lost it (Night of Champions 2015) so obviously she will keep holding onto the damn belt. It’s hard to lose it when you hardly defend it.
