I have to say, I appreciate the current AJ styles run.
I know peole are complaining, but others have also said, it’s kind of a bummer when the champions are always heels for long ass periods of time and when they are finally beaten, they find their way back with the title so it’s like they’ve never truly got their commeupence.
This and Naomi’s title reign are a breath of fresh air.
Naomi, actually a little better since her reign had a lot less stupid booking. She just defended her title a lot, beat a bunch of people clean and then lost cleanly to better wrestler who didn’t have the title yet and she didn’t complain about it but vowed to make it back to the top one day.

In total agreement about the Naomi portion.

God Naomi's title reign was a breath of fresh air for the women's division. A face champion who would take on all comers and didn't constantly look like a dweeb.
Hopefully they'll let Becky do the same soon..

I think my main issue with Styles is the fact that we wasted all that time on Nakamura and Owens. I really hate when WWE has challengers challenge OVER and OVER and OVER again. It was dragged out way too long. Rusev will hopefully breathe some fresh air into Style's reign until Summerslam. Maybe then we'll have Joe involved.

Rusev strikes me as a total filler challenger for a July PPV until Joe gets the nod at SS. Maybe they'll pull the trigger on Rusev but this seems like a token title shot to see how he reacts instead of a mega push.

Wasn't Naomis title run just a bunch of Lana matches until Nattie beat her?

It is a filler challenge for sure, but it's also the first time he's gotten pushed to this level. I don't recall him ever having a WWE or Universal title shot before. If this feud goes well and his match with AJ tears the house down, WWE will take notice. It happened with AJ. He had a great program with Roman, he moved onto beating Cena twice and then winning the title. Rusev impresses here, that could mean bigger things.
