Wasn't this the reason why the India trip was a bust because they expected a country that has an absolute devastatingly poor economy pay WrestleMania ticket prices for the show which only 5% of the population could afford? And obviously did not learn from that experience because now they're trying to charge the same thing in Australia! Is Vince in charge of this? If it is it just shows how out of touch he's really getting

That’s not saying it may not still be ill-advised, though, given it’s still a high price and an event timed right after the championship games of our two largest sports leagues here, one of which will be in this very stadium.

Any realistic chance this show sells out?
I've never been to Australia, and especially with all the Aussie indies running shows around it, I was considering flying in this October.
How much are the cheaper non-VIP seats?

My apology, I was talking about India and the economic issues over there, not about Australia which I know is the very economically fine place like America, but this ticket prices ridiculous even for any other countries like UK and Japan as well

How much are the cheaper non-VIP seats? Zero chance it sells out. Both of our national football leagues ( Australian Football & Rugby League) have their grand final the week before and tickets to them are relatively expensive although nowhere near as expensive as this show. Cheapest tickets are 40 bucks but it looks like they're almost behind the stage so the cheapest with a decent view is maybe $200

For those keeping score at home stateside, the decent view tickets have an exchange rate from 200 dollarydoos to $149 American. EDIT: Also, gadzooks is Minnesota to Perth an expensive flight! Booking now from Wednesday before to Wednesday after, the cheapest ticket is $1730 roundtrip. Over twice the cost of flying to Tokyo.

My stance is this.
1) nothing major will happen, and I knew nothing major would happen at TGGR. How? It aired at noon on a friday for their core audience.
2) since the saudi prince gave them such good money, wwe offered tickets at, what, 30$? I remember seeing it was cheap to entice viewers.
Why not do this for australia? I know there's no oil money coming in but you just got 200 mill/yr for sdl. Maybe earn some good will with your fanbase that you have to know you're driving away? I'm not Australian and I never pay attention to where they are so forgive me if I'm wrong but don't they only go there once a year or less? Then to charge 1400$ for one ticket ringside? Not to paint myself/us with a brush, but I dont know many wrestling fans with the disposable income to swing that for 1 non mania night, let alone if they want to make it a friend/family outing. I used to work at a theater and we saw signicant decrease when a Finding Nemo became $80 tickets+50 concessions for those with kids. We started offering 1/3 price food and 1/2 off ticket wednesdays- busiest day of the week with families packed and happy.
I hope the show falls flat and they have to offer reasonable tickets, and anyone who goes gets a good time/show worth a damn. So far the whole thing is just demonstrable of a company out of touch with reality/economics/their own worth.

Probably for insurance reasons, if you go to Australia there's like a 90% chance that you get bitten by something extremely poisonous.

I imagine part of their reasoning for the prices is that even if it isn't Wrestlemania quality, this is a chance for a lot of those living there to see certain guys and matches that they probably will never get to see again in person unless they travel elsewhere. Doesn't mean it will work but I can see what they're trying to do. WWE also has been doing this more lately since secondary market tickets have been showing that they were underpricing their high level tickets by a bit over the years.
