This is the guy whose whole thing is "Hey, dummy", right? Why all the hoopla? When you're in an unending desert wasteland, every puddle is an oasis. Well said, and point taken.

This is the guy whose whole thing is "Hey, dummy", right? Why all the hoopla? It's "DUMMY, YEAH.. ...YEAH!" The hoopla is because while that's his most known catchphrase, it's not all he has...dude's incredibly charismatic.

And is pretty good in the ring. But at his age he is smart to stay in Impact. Why sign to WWE and end up spending a year or two in NXT.

I don't know if most of the wwe roster, but he's ok. Still he's taking a big risk staying in tna, since they still have issues paying people on time. I hope he gets taken care off, but tna's finances are not exactly great.

This isn't like when Panda was in charge when there was many CONFIRMED reports that checks were late. One thing I have noticed. Got added to an invite only wrestling group earlier this year. Made up of mostly deep south wrestler, ref, etc. Most of them are watching and enjoying Impact each week. I watch it pretty much every week and it has been a good show. Way way better than the trash WWE has been putting out for a long time now.

Haha even Ed Nordholm accidentally admitted that Anthem was paying late, here's the thread in case you forgot officialfan.proboards.com/thread/570465/talent-says-issues-nordholm-repsondsHere's what he said "Talent is not behind on their pay. We generally provide for talent to be paid as independent contractors in the month following a month in which services are rendered. This was an improvement over previous management, where talent cheques were issued only as the actual episodes aired (could be as much as 12 weeks after tapings before final instalments were delivered). We instituted a payment policy last year to pay for all services rendered in a month in the following month, regardless of when the shows would air. Accordingly, cheques for January were mailed earlier mid-month; cheques for November were mailed mid-December (and I understand got caught up in Christmas mail delays)." The product improved, but their finances didn't. A month following a month lol.

And the first part in the quote from Anthem is
"Talent is not behind on their pay.We generally provide for talent to be paid as independent contractors in the month following a month in which services are rendered. This was an improvement over previous management, where talent cheques were issued only as the actual episodes aired (could be as much as 12 weeks after tapings before final instalments were delivered).
And for the hell of it here is the rest of the quote....
"We instituted a payment policy last year to pay for all services rendered in a month in the following month, regardless of when the shows would air. Accordingly, cheques for January were mailed earlier mid-month; cheques for November were mailed mid-December (and I understand got caught up in Christmas mail delays).
We realize that one unexpected impact of moving our corporate offices to Canada has been a further delay with mail services going cross-border. We are working to streamline our talent payroll processing so future events will be paid closer to the beginning of each month after services are rendered."

Does he really want to spend a year or two in NXT, then get called up and be stuck in mid card hell? Add in that the pay in NXT is crap. I know a LA indie guy that turned down a NXT deal. Mostly cause the pay was crap. Plus he didn't want to move to Florida when he already owns 2 fairly successful businesses in LA.

Ok does Eli Drake earns enough that he can afford to wait two months before tna pays him? Your friend could reject nxt because he has stuff outside of wrestling, I don't know if Drake does too.

I see your point, it's just my opinion that Drake is taking a major risk by staying on such unstable company. Another thing, if tna was paying that great, why did EC3 left for nxt? He and Drake have the same age.
