The best target for the Celtics would have been Beal, but now that the Pelicans have their sights on him, that's out of the picture. Not only are they out of conference, but they've got more ammo than anybody now.

4/100 for 33 year old Horford is ballsy and stupid.
Vlade, on hidden line 1?

If he falls that far, I can see Garland being a steal in the early second round. But yeah they aren't going to take him instead of RJ or Ja. Garland is a steal after the top 10. In my mock draft I did last month I think Garland goes number 6 meanwhile draft experts thinks he will go number 5 to Cavs Highly doubt he last past 10 It took a bad, bad injury for Porter to fall to the teens. Garland 8n this draft would take an act of god to fall past 14. Dude is a near-lock to go top 8.

As for Hayward, his contract has the potential to be a huge albatross. Not really. They basically have him for one more season and then come after next season passes he's an expiring contract which people will want I expect him to play better having a full season under his belt and two years removed from his injury. Will he regain his all star form? No. Will he even be worth his contract? No. BUT I think he helps this team win a few games

For the Kings, is it worth it? Meh. I think he could be a big culture changer for them and you obviously would love him for a 3/75 with that one extra year off but I think it makes sense for the Kings if they have to offer him the max Other then that, I think Nets might be a team, a return to ATL, and the Suns being a darkhorse team

It’s a bit higher than I want, but I still think it’s worth it. That’s the man to guide and lead Giles and Bagley to the next level.
He’d be the new age Vlade.
Or for a more recent example, he’d be our Paul Millsap to the Denver Nuggets.

Not only are they out of conference, but they've got more ammo than anybody now. Yea, they need a young guard like a Beal who is coming into their own I think Conley is a decent fit assuming you don't have to give up too much for him. I think Celts go cheaper route tho and bring back Isiah Thomas and sign a guard like Darren Collinson (I think he is a free agent) for a year

Washington should move Beal for the number 4 pick and Ingram
Have a good chance to have your pick of the guards after the consensus top 3 and you'll have two young players in the pick and Ingram to focus on for the future moving forward. Can't move Wall until he proves he is healthy

With the Durant injury, Kawhi's unknown decision and the Celtics disbanding quickly, it'll be interesting to see how the East will look come October. Somehow the Hornets will still not make the playoffs though. True...but if Kawhi comes back, Toronto will probably be the favorite to win the East again. It wont be by much with Milwaukee and Philadelphia nipping at the heels.

Conley heads to the Jazz. It'll be a year of battles in a Western Conference without much of a Warriors team. People smell blood in the water.
Draft compensation is #23 in tomorrow's draft and a first-round pick in 2020.
Would've liked Conley to have more of a chance to contend on an Eastern Conference team, but I'm happy for him regardless. Even with the injury history, he's one of the most underrated guards of all-time.

f*** me, every team in the west getting better and the Spurs main plan is probably just re-signing Rudy Gay

Smart move by the Jazz. He fits them like a glove
Memphis rebuild is looking good with Jackson and what looks to be Morant for sure after Conley trade and they could grab a reclamation project at number 23 and build them up
Ball in Pelicans court to see if they flip for Beal

Considering their cap situation too they can’t really be in the talks of a bunch of free agent role players either. They got to choose and pick their shot

Full trade breakdown for Conley
Grizzilies get: G Grayson Allen G/F Kyle Korver F Jae Crowder 2019 1st round pick Protected 2020 first round pick
Jazz gets: G Mike Conley
I like what Memphis got back. I like Allen and think he can be baby Reddick so he should get plenty of time on Memphis to play. Korver has teased retirement so even if he doesn't retire he's free cap or trade piece. Crowder is a good piece for this young team and can probably get something decent for him at the deadline if you want to move him

No surprise there Kawhi just was THE piece in a championship team and had one of the greatest single postseason performances in history. Why would he want to be a 3rd wheel to LeBron and AD when you can argue he is the number 1 player in the game right now and he has that LeBron vibe of any team i'm going to will be a contender

They gave up one rotation piece in Crowder really. I like Allen but like Reddick, it may take him a few years to develop
