Niles Caulder would recruit a yam if he could manipulate it to his purposes. This explains the title of DP episode 7: "Yam It Up Your Ass, Immortus!"

On episode 5 of Titans.
Great series so far. Much better than expected.
I like how it doesn't shy away from the fact it's a superhero show. With the Marvel series, they tend to tone it down. Iron Fist never wearing his costume for example and keeping the showrunners with more fighting-type powers than anything flashy.
But yeah, very enjoyable show so far.

I read what happens in the season finale of Titans.
I'll watch the episode tonight.
If it goes exactly like the recap, I don't know if my eyes will ever stop rolling.

Uh... Cyborg being in this instead of Titans is an odd choice...
doubley so because uh going"oh no I had an accident and am now part machine" falls kinda flat with ROBOTMAN there.

I feel like Geoff Johns has some kind of boner for keeping Cyborg away from the Titans. You know, despite the fact that most fans both hardcore and casual associate him with the Titans. My hope is that after introducing him here, he gets moved over to Titans. Not holding my breath, though.

Haven’t watched the last 2 episodes yet, but I ended up enjoying most of the season way more then I expected. It was very oddly paced for a debut season, the whole “focus on a side character every second episode” thing was something you’d expect out of an already established show. But, overall it’s a decent show with lots of potential, just don’t expect it to be a 1:1 adaptation of Titans

So I finally got the DCU...like with the WWE Network, my main priority was to check the archives first. Also watched the premiere of YJ:O.
Like WWE, say what you want about the current stuff, but so far, the classic show content is aces. And one of the first things I am reminded of... The New Adventures of Batman does NOT hold up at all, if it ever did. Let me count the ways....other than Adam West and Burt Ward, everyone else is voiced by Lennie Weinrib (aka Time for Timer, aka Scrappy Doo, Mk. 1). Bat-mite. Burt RIGHT NOW sounds more enthusiastic when he did the 1966-based animated movies than he did in 1977. BAT-MITE. Somehow the "action" is more pacifistic and G-rated than Superfriends. Pink Riddler in the opening (cause, you know, he was on a better Saturday morning show) and Bear, er, Catwoman (really, Filmation, why could you never draw a convincing catsuit?). They never drew Robin's logo correctly in this series. And oh yeah....BAT-MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITE!!!!!! Really. Some of the episodes could have been somewhat acceptable had this green little bastard not been on the show. At least Orko and Snarf had heart, even the aforementioned Scrappy had his moments where he was kind of entertaining, and despite haters from the mid-90s on saying otherwise, he DID give the Scooby franchise a couple more seasons going on the '80s. Bat-Mite in this incarnation added nothing but to be annoying and mess things up Gilligan fashion.
I hope DCU gets the 1968 Filmation series up there, it's a MUCH better sequel to the '66 live action series. I remember being psyched for the '77's DVD release as I literally did not see it since it was on NBC. Now I remember why it wasn't such a grand experience when I finally saw the show again.
One brief thing about YJ...while it remains quality, I also remember the one thing I didn't totally like: using a time jump to advance the story or change things up. The stories and such are still good, but it's like a copout.

My biggest issue with the service so far is that the comic archive sucks. It's so bare. It doesn't even have major arcs like Hush or The Judas Contract.

That's what I thought, because I think they said that there would be crossover between Doom Patrol and Titans. But going with Cyborg makes no sense, especially when, like you pointed out, Robotman is already on the team. Plus, he's not exactly weird, which is kind of the theme of the team. Hell, putting Gar on this team makes more sense to me. It's just a weird decision all around.

Just looked up info on the season finale of Titans out of curiosity and... That description alone is enough to confirm I'm never watching this show. What.
