What a weird promotional video.
Adults would (mostly) be the ones riding it or deciding to ride it, not kids. Did they really think kids would beg their parents to ride it just because the Ninja Turtles said it was cool?

Why are heroes mostly associated with New York (to the point they're now doing tourism ads with the Turtles all around various NYC sites) in LA?

Why are heroes mostly associated with New York (to the point they're now doing tourism ads with the Turtles all around various NYC sites) in LA? I guess since NYC has a lot of cultural currency. (That, and the Ninja Turtles kinda started off as a parody of Frank Miller's run on Daredevil. The Hand became the Foot, Stick became Splinter, etc) Really, LA doesn't seem to see much heroic stuff. I guess skyscrapers are more interesting backdrops, plus subways and such are cooler setpieces than congested traffic.
