AKA: (Big) Dog Days Of Summer OR Not Starring Brock Lesnar
It's the go-home show before Extreme Rules, and while the Universal Champion is off trying to promote a fight that likely won't happen until next year, his former archnemesis and biggest critic is trying to keep himself occupied. In doing so, the self-proclaimed "Uncrowned Champion" Roman Reigns has run afoul of Bobby "Bob" Lashley. The two are destined to face off at Extreme Rules because Roman is a horrible tag partner with people he doesn't like and because Lashley doesn't like him back. Will they have one final standoff/barb slinging before Sunday, and will the Revival come out to be gadflies yet again?
Meanwhile, someone Roman DOES like, Seth Rollins, currently has a problem by the name of Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler is the proud owner of a title that Rollins once had: the Intercontinental Championship. Ahead of Rollins' rematch in an Iron Man Match on Sunday, can Mr. BURN IT DOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNN seize momentum from the Showoff, and what role will Drew McIntyre play?
After the Hugging Bosses (I don't care if that was never their name, I have to do the name for the sake of using an old wrestling line) imploded, Sasha Banks and Bayley were forced to attend counseling. Will the efforts of Dr. Shelby be enough to prevent things from getting worse?
Alexa Bliss may have pulled off a major league heist at MITB, but she still has an angry Nia Jax breathing down her neck. Can the RAW Women's Champion avoid disaster hitting early before she defends the title in an Extreme Rules Match?
The B-Team continue to be threats to the Deleters Of Worlds and their tag titles. Can the multi-generational superstars keep their momentum going en route to their showdown on Sunday or do WOKEN Matt and WOKEN Bray have other plans?
All this, plus Braun Strowman continues to make Kevin Owens look like an idiot, on Monday Night RAW, 8E/7C, only on USA Network!
