I`ve recently started buying older games consoles. New ones are too expensive for me right now so second hand SNES, Mega Drive, Dreamcasts etc are providing me with entertainment.
I`ve always wanted a Mega CD. I know they`re crap but ever since I saw Ground Zero Texas in the shops playing on the Mega CD I`ve wanted one. And now I have one!
Anyone else into retro gaming? And as I have no games for my new purchase, anyone know of good games released for it?

Night trap is a must I think. My retro collection might end up being like the gaming version of wrestlecrap!

The Sega/Mega CD has a LOAD of great games.
Lunar: Silver Star Story Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Eternal Champions Sonic CD WWF Rage In The Cage Dark Wizard Secret Of Monkey Island Silpheed The Adventures Of Willy Beamish Snatcher
That's just off the top of my head. Trust me, there's more. The Sega/Mega CD doesn't get the proper love.

A lot of the games that came out for Genesis and SNES had a better Playstation quality version for Sega CD.

Sewer Shark. I hated that game. It hated me. But I didn't stop until I completed it. The biggest non-achievement ever.

Most Sega CD games were either FMV abortions or Genesis games with a CD soundtrack. But for anything Sega/Mega related, I recommed the site www.sega-16.com

When the Playstation first came out the games on it were not that much better than Sega CD. I mean how much better was a Mortal Kombat game on Playstation than on Sega CD?

To me a lot better, but I never saw MK3 on Sega CD to do a side by side comparison. And Ridge Racer >>>> Virtual Racer or whatever the Sega franchise was called. And was that Sega CD or Saturn....I dont even remember lol

Well the games I got with it are; Sol Feace, Cobra Command, Road Avenger and Sonic CD.
I have however, hit a snag. I bought the Mega CD 1 with original Mega Drive already attached. But when I went to set it up a few minutes ago, I found there were no cables for the Mega Drive part! The CD drive has everything but is useless without the Mega Drive plugged in as well.
So I tried to use the cables from my Mega Drive 2 but it won`t fit. So now I have to find out if I can use my Mega Drive 2 with my Mega CD 1.
And I won`t be able to go back to the shop for a good few days. What a pain in the arse.

Haha, I have two SegaCDs. I remember asking EB what I'd get to trade one in and the guy said it was worth 8 cents.
