Both men were billed in their day as the All-American Hero, the Boy Scout, the Superhero, the one for kids to look up to and adults to respect. But both of them also displayed a ton of dickish behavior that always got swept under the rug by the announcers and the people in charge.
Hogan would regularly use heel tactics in matches (choking, biting, back racking, powder in the eyes), threw tantrums if he lost or something didn't go his way (Royal Rumble eliminations), and would repeatedly steal the thunder from others when they were celebrating (Savage, Warrior), among many other things.
Cena would often come off as a massive hypocrite by talking about Hustle, Loyalty and Respect, but rarely, if ever showing any of the second or third to his so-called friends and allies, such as never running out to help someone who was being beat down in the ring (Ryback, which directly led to his heel-turn; his Survivor Series 2014 teammates getting ambushed by the Authority while he just stood in the back "helpless"), never accepting blame when he did something wrong (Slut-shaming Eve after HE made out with her in front of Zack Ryder), or just flat-out being a bully (humiliating Michael Cole long after he'd stopped being an overbearing heel; ignoring Lana's pleas to stop assaulting Rusev until she agreed to give him a US Title match, torturing John Laurinitus for over ten minutes when he could have just pinned him and won and then blaming the whole thing on Big Show when he ended up losing) among many other things.
Keep in mind, this is purely from a kayfabe standpoint, so racist rants and backstage politics don't play into this. And I'm also not counting the things they did when they were heels. Feel free to give your own examples for other dickish behavior that supports your vote.
