Ryan Tannehill was traded to the Titans to be Mariota’s back up. Either the Dolphins are trading up, trading for Brissett like the rumors last month said, or they are tanking in the most glorious way possible. Honestly, swinging a trade for Brissett isn’t a terrible idea. He either turns out to be a quality starter, at which point you resign him, or he isn’t and you still fail enough to draft a QB next year. And with that move, the Titans also released Blaine Gabbert

Tyreek Hill is under investigation for allegations of battery. Apparently against his 3 year old son... who has a broken arm. The mother is his fiancée who he also plead guilty to beating up. If this winds up being true he’s gonna sit a while

Yea, AP beat his son with a "switch" to discipline him because he said that's the way he was raised. His son had bruises on his leg. He got essentially a year suspension
If Hill broke his son arm and beat on his fiancee he's most likely f***ed and on the no play list for at least 2 years

Well, Miami has a new QB who they signed to a 2 year deal...… It's Ryan Fitzpatrick I've been sharply critical of Ryan Tannehill and the never-ending hype that THIS YEAR is going to be the year he breaks out, yet I think Miami might have been better served with Tannehill under center than Fitzpatrick. What does signing Ryan Fitzpatrick do for the Miami Dolphins? He's just competent enough to win a handful of games but he's also not good enough to really make a lasting impression. The Dolphins seem stuck in the middle of what they want to be. If they wanted to tank 2019 in the hope of fighting the Giants for the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, they should have just stuck with Luke Falk or Jake Rudock. But with Tannehill under center, they'll be just good enough to win maybe 6 or 7 games, which will be just enough to bump them from the first or second pick to something like the fifth or sixth pick. But if their goal was to be competitive in 2019, then they've completely missed with this Fitzpatrick signing. They could have rode out one more year with Tannehill, swung a trade for a better quarterback like Josh Rosen, or signed a free agent like Teddy Bridgewater. But by committing to Fitzpatrick, they've essentially guaranteed a level of sub-mediocrity. Not bad enough to be among the league's worst teams, but not good enough to be viewed as a playoff contender.

Decisions like this are a huge reason why.
