I get trashing the Steelers GM or Ben Roethlisberger, but Juju is a mensch. Leave him out of your beef, AB. From all reports he is legit mad that the Steelers voted Juju as team mvp and not him. Ryan Clark has been saying for 2 years that when Brown got his money he would become a monster. He also said this week that Antonio Brown is not a good person

Patriots signed TE Austin Sefarian-Jenkins to a one year deal This signing turned me into the living embodiment of the shrug emoji. Like, yeah, he's a tight end and that's a position that needs depth following Rob Gronkowski's retirement, but it's hard to gin up any sort of enthusiasm for a guy who has never played more than 13 games in a season - or more than nine games in a season other than his 2017 campaign - and whose career-high in catches and yards is 50 and 337 respectively. Also, the Patriots have been woeful at finding a solid no. 2 tight end to spell Gronkowski since Aaron Hernandez was arrested. I just hope the Patriots are able to land one of the Iowa tight ends (T.J. Hockenson, Noah Fant) in the upcoming Draft, otherwise they're entering 2019 with the weakest tight end group since 2009 (Benjamin Watson, Chris Baker, Michael Matthews), better known as the dark days before Rob Gronkowski arrived.

For those that don't remember, ASJ was the one who had the TD against the Patriots ruled a turnover that one game.

Rashard Mendenhall needs to shut the f*** up too. He was a f***ing fumble machine who also said people were ignorant for celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden.
These players backing up AB with dumb shit really aren't helping him, but then again, AB is really showing what kind of dumbass clown he is. Especially trying to drag JuJU.

As expected, that light skin Keith Sweat got paid.
The market is gonna explode over this next year as Dak Prescott, Carson Wentz, AND Jared Goff are gonna be paid big time by their respective franchise.

Patriots are signing WR Demaryius Thomas It’s a good signing for them, but they still need another WR and a TE to complete that offense.

Patriots are signing WR Demaryius Thomas Bill Belichick has gone bargain shopping and dumpster-diving for receivers and tight ends this off-season. While I'm optimistic a younger signing like Maurice Harris could benefit from having Tom Brady throw him the ball, I have a hard time remaining optimistic about Demaryius Thomas finding any sort of success in New England. The guy is washed-up - he hasn't had a 1,000-yard season since 2016 - he's a 31-year-old coming off a torn Achilles last December, and I felt he was soft even in his prime, as he had a propensity to drop easy catches at the first sign of contact from a defender.

Frank Clark appears to be displeased. He simply tweeted "They lied to me" last night. Something tells me that long term contract talks might not go well. If they aren't shopping him, they should. I don't see them getting this one done, especially since Bobby Wagner also has to get paid.

The market is gonna explode over this next year as Dak Prescott, Carson Wentz, AND Jared Goff are gonna be paid big time by their respective franchise. Speaking of Wentz and Goff, I have a feeling that we're going to get a second-tier "franchise" QB - Wentz and Goff being prime candidates - get traded for a couple first round picks (if not more) within the next couple of seasons, rather than having their current teams give them a $100 million+ extension. It seems like everything is lining up - the rules benefiting the offense generally and QBs specifically, the rise of the QB guru head coach (McVay and Pederson being two of the guru-iest), plus a glut of QB talent - that one of these more-forward looking teams is going to say, "We are better off trading our current guy for a few first round picks, potentially use one of those on a rookie QB, and hedge ourselves with a Teddy Bridgewater-like veteran for ~$7 million a year, than mortgage our salary cap by paying one of the league's top 10-15 QBs $25-30 million a year." The top-tier QBs - in which I would include Wilson and Mahomes (so long as he can play well enough this coming season to demonstrate that this past season wasn't a complete anomaly) - would still get paid, because the difference between a Top 5 QB and the rest is still significant, but that next tier seems more easily replaceable than they have been for a very long time, and the realities of the salary cap will incentivize teams to move on more quickly from their starter. And then the rest of the league will catch on after a few such trades, putting an end to those huge trades for a starting QB, but causing QB contracts to fall significantly...which would probably then lead to labor disputes.

Keep in mind that we're probably about to have another work stoppage once the current bargaining agreement ends in two years. Russell Wilson is a gambler- that new contract he just signed is partially banking on there being a huge increase in player salary once that situation is resolved (his contract ends after 2021)
