They are still doing the Big 4 in major market cities with the whole week of shows taking place in the market, so no, the Big 4 is not dead by any means.

survivor series is pretty much done as a "big 4" to me since it's devolved to "hey I hate you and you hate me, wait a sec are you wearing a red t-shirt? so am I! let's go beat up the blue shirts buddy!" post SS "I hate you again since you don't have your red shirt on anymore. me too!let's fight!

The only time survivor series ever stood out to me was the 1990 ppv, where the survivors then fought in The Grand Finale Match which was different.
I wish they would do that again, it would make a change and hey you could have multiple champions in the ring at the same time for a photo spot deal.

Other than maybe during the In Your House Era, Survivor Series has never been all that important. I loved the classic days of it being on Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Eve and everyone having a team, but most years it had no impact on anything. From 1987-1990 there was a Saturday Night’s Main Event on that weekend too and that usually had as much if not more effect on storylines.

It's hard for anything to feel big when they're pumping out do many hours of TV each week, with network shows and events on top of that. There's more content now than ever and big storylines are burned through fast, and everyone on the main roster is overexposed, except the injured and the part time.

Here's an idea, why don't they treat every PPV as a big deal and not save their "big moments" for Wrestlemania only?

Here's an idea, why don't they treat every PPV as a big deal and not save their "big moments" for Wrestlemania only? How many big moments do we even have any more? The company has basically been pretty lackluster in that regard for years.

It felt like a big PPV to me, I didn't mind the squash matches at all. I think Survivor Series has gone down in terms of importance over the past few years,IMO.
