Aries also believes that shoving your crotch in a woman's face because she flubbed a line is perfectly acceptable behavior... so maybe he doesn't always know what the f*** he's talking about. Who hasn't sinned should throw the first stone and stuff like that. I've said this in numerous other circumstances, but I'm imperfect like everyone else, made more mistakes than I can count, some serious ones, I've acted like a dick in the past. I have never shoved my crotch in a woman's face on television because she made a mistake and then doubled down and made out it was no big deal. I feel comfortable criticising Aries' actions there.

Late to this sidevice of the party but Josh is a horrible announcer.
Also when on twitter I said he was getting as bad as Mark Madden, Madden was vanity searching himself and decided to try and argue that he, Josh and VAMPIRO were better announcers than anyone else.
I told him I respectfully disagree, he called me a mark running my mouth (it was a thing we had). I pointed out that sums up every fan of wrestling everywhere and thanked him for engaging, then blocked him as I sensed he was massing a pile on by his followers.

They couldn't get the older generation when they about only employed the older generation. Aren't the older generation already watching NJPW, ROH or NXT? Impacts one big problem aside from it being Murphy's law in wrestling is it adds nothing unique to the table, at all. Don't forget Lucha Underground. Grown folks wrestling is quite fine with or without them.

Guess I can throw a bag of rocks at Aries.

Guess I can throw a bag of rocks at Aries. Wish he didn't do. He stood in the corner on the second rope where she was there for like 5 seconds and it barely touched. Of course it was a stupid moronic move and it should not have happened but you write it as if he pulled it out.

Any other job you get fired for that because it can filed as sexual harassment and despite people getting up his ass about it, he still found time to make light of the next week. It's an incredibly douche thing to do.
Just because she made a botch doesn't require that response. They actually did fine beforehand with the annoyed looks on their faces and even the backing her into a corner for "bully tactics" was enough to get the crowd to boo you more but Aries took it a step further which wasn't needed. It wasn't needed when they already expressed their annoyance
So, no it does not get brought up every time anyone talk about Aries but I wouldn't call he who hasn't sinned throw the first stone an appropriate response either because that's not taking it remotely serious and basically saying he shouldn't be criticized because "it's in the past" or people "have skeletons in their closet"

It was the symbol that was frustrating to watch.

Where did I say that Aries was right? Yes it was a bully move. But really I'm not sure what's the point of bringing it up. And actually yes everybody has skeletons, nobody is perfect. Maybe there are different sort of people who have different type of makeups in their beings. But I happen to be someone that does not like to bring back stuff all the time. Maybe you are. But I just think it's negative. Especially associated with something that I love. And while I'm not religious, I believe in forgiveness. I'm not even a big fan of Aries but I'll fight for his right to exist. Crapping on something really is not useful to anything.

First off, he's not asked for forgiveness or expressed regret of any kind, so he believes it to be okay. But secondly, the point was made that if he feels that way, his is an opinion we might not want to take on face value and believe everything he says. That's the issue here.

Nobody brings this up on a whim. If dude apologized and said he was wrong this wouldn't even be an issue but he DOUBLED DOWN the next week therefore showing he didn't any f***s about people had to say because it was a joke to him
You can forgive him all you want but people are going to always crap on him about that because instead of realizing he was wrong and moving on he just treated it like a joke
The fact that you keep saying he didn't touch her I think shows you're not understanding the other side but I could be wrong. He didn't have to actually whip it out and rub it on her forehead in order for people to be outraged. The provocative act was enough to enrage people because it was highly unnecessary and i'm pretty sure you wouldn't like it if someone had their genitals a few inches from your face especially on live TV
Aries still exist he's fine. He's back on Impact as champ and actually doing a damn good job. But as you can see I can still criticize him for his shitty attitude while heaping some praise on him as a performer.
This isn't just "something" people are getting up his ass about. This doesn't get categorized into "something" like it didn't matter.
Essentially if Aries said something to the effect of I got too into my character and I was wrong or I didn't exactly think that through and didn't realize my actions until I saw it on camera and i'm sorry would play much better. It's all about perspective but he didn't do that which is why this is still brought up
I'm moving on after this post tho, too much time wasted on something we all know was wrong and just going in circles at this point

I'd love for someone on the roster to just say "all we have to do is get rid of Josh Matthews and we'll be gold." Life would be better without Josh and his horrendous commentary
Say what you will about Cole but he can turn it on at points, Josh was decent in WWE but on his own in TNA he has been trash
I started watching impact again for the first time in months, and I'm loving it. But yeah, but I was disappointed to hear Josh Mathews STILL on commentary.
