Isnt this the first ppv in Canada in a long time? Survivor Series was in Toronto just two years ago.

Isnt this the first ppv in Canada in a long time? Survivor Series 2016 in Toronto. Featuring Goldberg vs. Lesnar. Seems only Toronto gets PPV's now. The rest of Canada is shut out.

I’ll for sure go to Takeover and maybe SS itself, but I’m actually more excited about the potential of some kind of crazy Joey Janela card that weekend.

I am so down for a takeover and SummerSlam. Summerslam is my bros birthday party though, so I dunno if I could swing it 😔

Well, I may have to hit my old stomping ground and watch the NXT show. (There’s no way I could sit through 6 hours of the Main rosters)

I'm expecting bizarro-world with all the results, cheers, jeers, and pops that week...can't wait to see how the announcers try to spin it.

I'd be really tempted to make the trip over from Montreal if a) it weren't the weekend right after a big anime con I go ham at money-wise 2) I saw myself caring enough about WWE to sink that kind of money into a trip. It's cool they're seeing at least some part of Canada as PPV-worthy again.

Tickets to SummerSlam are available for purchase now, according to an email I got.
Considering the product WWE is having right now, I'd not be surprised if we get "Bizarro World" comments during the show from the commentary crew as a defensive measure.

Summer isn't just encouraged in Canada, it's allowed.

I'd be tempted but given how much my Smackdown tickets were in Toronto last year, I don't know that I can justify the cost of a big 4 PPV.

I think it's only the Travel Packages/Advanced tickets that are on sale now because I can't seem to find any listings for individual event tickets for Summerslam or the other events on either The WWE or Ticketmaster site.
