Braun's Heel Turn may be the Gooker Award

The Lashley/Zayn shenanigans, which is the current front-runner, may have been hokey, but at least it was short-lived and for the most part forgettable. 

With Bruan's character development. They took the hottest babyface from over the summer, and overall the guy who has been getting the best organic reactions from the crowd and completely squashed that. 

I see this getting over like a fart in church, worse than Austin's turn in 2001. 

Bruan did get some boos last night, but was the heat on him or the writers for "forcing us to cheer Roman over Braun"?

Roman only gets sympathy from the crowd when he is with his Sheild brothers. Putting him out there alone against Braun, the crowd will eat him up worse than a swamp full of mosquitoes. Roman has been getting shit on by the crowd when he goes against guys like Jinder. How the hell does WWE think the people will react when he goes against the guys the fans want as their top guy?

From a kayfabe standpoint I don’t mind it, solely because Braun never made anything about or for “us.” Even when he was doing the wackiest of skits, not once did he pander to the crowd or shout out the city they were in. I can believe Braun turning heel and not giving a damn over someone like Becky Lynch. Braun only started to fight the bad guys when it was convient for him, not the “Universe.” And the end of the day, the dude just wants competition and to kill Roman Reigns, even after all that time banging pianos and dressing up as a nerd.

From a realistic perspective, this’ll definitely kill him. He got next to no reaction in the Main Event. He truly is this generations Big Show. A dude that should’ve done more, but instead is pushed aside until he becomes a joke due to his multiple turns.

Zayn vs. Lashley gave us the two worst segments of the whole year, so that's still my choice with Sasha/Bayley just behind.

I would not call what they are doing to Braun bad just yet, disappointing is the better term. The Lashley/Zayn shenanigans was flat out BAD.

I’m mainly referring to Enzo’s rap career and Cass’s name changes. Just their post WWE moves in general. The Gooker isn’t restricted to just stuff in WWE. Though, Sami and Lashley has to be considered the favorite at this point.

I don’t see it lasting very long. It’s just something temporary to keep the Shield occupied and rebuild them before they split up and head into a Mania triple threat. Once they’re done thoroughly annihilating Braun and co, Drew and Mac will end up turning on Braun, and all will be forgotten.

They went back to what made him work before. Piano smashing, alter ego having, woman impersonating, bass playing Braun just wasn’t meshing well anymore.

Yep. The Gooker hasn't been awarded in the true spirit of the thing in the last few years.
