And Cardi B just turned herself in. I mean but was it for the Nicki Minaj fight, or a totally different incident?

They both suck, but Nicki is the worst. Brags about being nothing more than being a sex object, after paying huge amounts of money into turning herself into a sex object, does songs with known paedophiles and woman-beaters and has people like Drake rap about her arse and titties while she stands there approving of their objectification of her.

Closest Cardi B will ever get to anything cultural. What do you mean by that? Does she strike you as someone who's into the arts?

What do you mean by that? Does she strike you as someone who's into the arts? She’s a rapper which is a art form so yes she does strike me as someone who’s into the Arts.

Y’all gonna stop acting like people who are from a different culture or act differently from what you think is “culture” isn’t cultured. I know what you’re getting at and I’m not for it at all.

What do you mean by that? Does she strike you as someone who's into the arts? Stripping is an art. From venues I've visited.

She clearly wouldn't know her brass from her oboe. There's bo artistic merit in anything she's ever done. Saying rhymes to a stolen beat is not the same as being cultured even if she was a good rapper.

Nicki could be totally in the right with all this, but working with 6ix9ine has eroded a massive amount of good will, and I don't think i'm the only one thinking that. Mess. Real shit. Nicki has really revealed herself to be a really ugly person in these past few months. And she is talented but yikes, what an awful person. She's sort of turned into the caricature people made Taylor Swift out to be, only this time it was actually spot on.

I liked it better when it was Foxy Brown vs. Lil Kim.
Both have their share of accomplishments, Cardi having the most recent success and Minaj having the longevity. However, it doesn’t stop both of them from being pretty shitty people who are more than willing to female MCing look like a Springer-esque sideshow to outside observers.

She’s the most popular female rapper which by the way is the most popular music art form in the world. What you’re getting at is rooted in classism and something else that I won’t say.

If we're talking about "stolen bars", one could level the same complaints towards rock musicians like Led Zeppelin and all of the blues hooks they lifted. Sampling beats and melodies is not exclusive to hip-hop.

Hell, let's go back to T.S Eliot: "The immature poet imitates and the mature poet plagiarizes" Just because something isn't YOUR culture, doesn't mean it's not culture.

Flat-out plagiarism is bad of course, but no artist creates in a vacuum. Heck. Michael Jackson admitted his Billie Jean beat was inspired by "I Can't Go For That" by Hall & Oates. I firmly believe in the "good artists copy, great artists steal" theory.

I firmly believe in the "good artists copy, great artists steal" theory. Shit, Rock, R&B, Blues and Jazz all have Gospel Roots. Rap is poetry with those beats. And when Rap and R&B is together on smooth beat, we get New Jack Swing What I'm trying to say" everyone stole from Rick James.

Speaking only for myself here, but...I don't get why people take stock in this stuff.
Like, people who make more money than I will probably ever see don't like each other. Whoopie!

It's all marketing. I don't believe these 2 actually have a problem with each other at all. Same goes for Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly.
