I hadn't ridden this on previous trips, and finally did on trip #3 with my wife in 2016.
Glad I did, it felt much more like the old optimistic-futuristic-educational Epcot that I loved.
Though I'll probably mourn the loss of The Great Movie ride more than this one.
A new Baymax themed health pavillion would be awesome. I'd much rather have something like that than a damn superhero coaster.
I'm dreading the seemingly inevitable day for Figment to disappear once again. God knows instead of making his exhibit more interesting they'll just bulldoze it.

I was so hoping this would be about Ax and Smash showing up to the park.

Gods, I was so hoping that WDWMagic tweet had Ax & Smash in it. EPCOT was weird revisiting back in 2011-2012 for me. My last trip before that was 1994, and soon after a few of the pavilions I *loved* - Horizons, Wonders of Life, World of Motion, even Communicore - went away. I regret not going into Universe of Energy those few years ago when I was there again; I got the impression from my Disney-geek ex that it was not the same as it had been. Now it's just Spaceship Earth, The Land (which I never liked as a kid, but that was before Soarin') and Imagination (which I hear is a very hollow version of what it had once been) from the ol' Future World.

See, Disney, if you didn't want to turn us old school EPCOT fans off, having Ax and Smash host the Universe of Energy could've earned you a ton of goodwill.

I laughed more than I should have, at that.... Last time I went to Epcot, I got so nauseous, on Mission: Space.

The fact ride replaced the legendary Horizons pavilion still irks many to this day (myself included). Hell, the fact that Disney had a friggin' kick ass space pavilion planned out as early as the late 70s but instead gave us THAT when they decided to do an EPCOT space-based attraction still irks many to this day (myself included).

Last time I went to Epcot, I got so nauseous, on Mission: Space. I've never gotten nauseous in a ride/simulator ever. That was the first and so far only. Hell, that damn Tower of Terror was almost as bad, but oddly enjoyable. Mission Space was just a disconcerting and jarring experience.
