How much do you have to suck to get released from the WWE these days? They’re signing and keeping everybody. I mean, Big Cass was quite craptacular and it took him going against orders to rough up a little person to get let go, and Enzo while entertaining had to get implicated in some serious stuff to get out of there. I can't even remember the last time they fired someone for being dead weight instead of an asshole. Darren Young and Summer Rae are the only recent releases I can think of that seemed to be for cost cutting/cutting dead weight reasons. All of the others were for either being malcontents backstage (Big Ass, Emma, Simon Gotch, Austin Aries) or having outside the ring issues they wanted to wash their hands with (Enzo, Rich Swann).

Welp, there goes my "turn him into a diamond" theory. Sometimes, when you put pressure on coal, you just come out the other end with slightly shinier coal. To be fair, it was an experiment worth conducting, just to see if he could beat the odds with literally the very best training going for him. Snake Pit, NJPW Dojo, The Territories, Karl Gotch, Lucha Libre.... With that mix, you think the PC would produce monsters.

Not since the release of Braden Walker has a wrestlers departure cut me this deep. Out of morbid curiousity, I would have loved to see Braden and Shera go at it.

In Enzo's case, he was actually both of those things.

When she was released there was reports saying she was "difficult to work with". I think they also said she was problematic with the whole Emmalina thing. I think there had to be something there as considering how rarely they cut anyone I find it hard to believe they would release someone like Emma who was good in the ring, very attractive, and still relatively young. There's a lot more other people on the roster that would be more prime canidates to get the boot if was just merely a cost cutting thing. I guess it could've just been a case of her being a low card talent who wasn't being productive due to being on the DL a lot the last couple of years since the two people she was released with (Darren and Summer) also fall into that boat and unlike other lower card talent that have been hurt a lot they didn't have family connections (Tamina, Colons) or tough guy reps that Vince likes (Sin Cara) to bail them out.

Shera signed with WWE in January 2018 and reported to the WWE Performance Center in February. He made his WWE NXT live event debut on March 1 in Ocala, Florida, defeating Dan Matha at a live event.

To put into perspective how embarrassing Shera's short run is: Dan Matha is still seen as a prospect worth keeping around. Dude’s been on the Florida loop for three years, at this point. And the closest he’s been to a TV run was them running vignettes for him and hyping a debut, only for it to be a complete fakeout to set up a Samoa Joe beatdown and promo. If he didn’t show up randomly in the Greatest Royal Rumble earlier this year, that would still be his only TV appearance to date. Ya know what...I'd make this his gimmick. Have him actually come out BOASTING that he's still on the NXT house show circuit off of TV. Say that the higher ups know that blessing the people with his presence in Florida was the best thing that could happen for them. Have him get delusional with it. He gives himself the nickname "The Prince Of Florida", which he makes the announcers call him. Have him come out giving oranges to lucky people in the audience. Get to the point where he declares himself THE KING OF FLORIDA and in a phony ceremony he gifts himself a phony championship belt that he defends...and keeps losing. Constantly. And keeps saying that it didn't count because it was non-title, and was never announced.

When you are losing to Raul Mendoza who I don't remember when he actually won anything televised, then you know something is wrong

If Dixie Carter was still running TNA, then this would so be a TNA PPV main event. Probably with the exact same result.

Buying a ticket for a house show where you watch Khoya and f***ing Gunner go to a no contest is like paying money to watch someone run over your cat.

I mean, they didn't break a beer bottle over his dad's head, so I'm sure Gunner can forgive one mere beatdown.
