So I was just thinking about that FCW bunch from 2010... the likes of Jacob Novak, Lucky Cannon, Abraham Washington and Eli Cottonwood. I haven’t heard anything about these guys in years. Some of their Wikipedia pages haven’t been updated so my question is... what are they up to now? Are they still on the circuit?

I think I remember seeing Abraham Washington is now juiced out of his mind and playing an evil monster character.

According to Jim Cornette a lot of guys who were in developmental before Triple H took over completely left the business as the experiences they went through completely disillusioned them to what the world of wrestling was.

I always wondered what happened to Lucky Cannon, Ambrose made fun of the fact that before nxt, Lucky was the top guy in developmental.
Eli Cottonwood i think is the only giant who never got over.

This was Abraham Washington in 2016.
Honestly, just listen to his theme then until he takes his cape off.

Dr. Cable Jones is one of my favourite obscure guys. Hey, fun trivia fact... He once had a dark match against a young Dean Ambrose in TNA of all places.

Hopefully they all had great fallback careers like El Hijo de Medico Asesino.

Hopefully they all had great fallback careers like El Hijo de Medico Asesino. I need someone who worked for developmental back then to explain this. Was it a rib? Was it an irony thing? I have to f***ing know.

I have to f***ing know. “Get me Dr. Wagner Jr.!” “He’s unavailable, Mr. McMahon.” “Then get me his non-union American equivalent!”

Buddy Stetcher (more like Buddy Stretchmarks lol), Corey Graves’s brother, went to wrestle for some no-name companies in England, landed in CMLL with a [certain WWE HoFer] Supporter gimmick, and recently had a RevPro gig where he choked and resorted to calling people a certain f-word that we know AJ Styles likes. I guess he just showed up in All Japan last month, too, teaming with Joe Doering, who was in FCW for a cup of coffee as “Drake Brewer” and looked like a failed Heidenreich clone. Edit for pics:

I always wondered what happened to Lucky Cannon, Ambrose made fun of the fact that before nxt, Lucky was the top guy in developmental. I wonder if that leads to some false sense of job security. "I'm top guy in developmental, I'm getting called up any day now" type thinking. Cause maaaaaan. Lucky cannon....
