Don't know if anyone else is interested in this, but thought I'd share this find. I thought it was neat. I ran across a 1992 local Memphis Tv guide in some old papers in my closet, and I noticed in July 1992 on a Saturday there was 8 1/2 hours of wrestling on TV in Memphis, though a lot at the same time. The Studio Wrestling on Channel 5 is USWA, WWF at 10 AM is WWF Challenge. WCW Saturday night isn't designated with the drawing of wrestling but is there on the schedule. Also, notice that at 9 AM on USA is WBF Bodystars.

Beyond the Wrestling listings, there is plenty of classic TV listed on those two pages. It looks like kids growing up in Memphis had it good with the choice on offer. ProStars at 8am, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at 9 and Wrestling (WWF, WCW OR USWA) at 10AM would've been my routine for sure!
It's always cool to see things like this, thanks for sharing!

In 86 and 87 nine hours of wrestling aired on a channel out of Florida. 7 of the hours were in a row. First show was at 3pm. Then from 5pm until 12am was the 7 hour block. Then at 2am another hour of wrestling aired.

I got myself a nice breather at Noon on Lifetime with Supermarket Sweep and Shop Til You Drop. That was good watching. I just hope Buzzr gets the old Shop Til You Drop episodes soon.

I used to watch 6 hours of wrestling on Saturdays every week and never tire of it. I still remember the schedule. WCW Pro at 9 WWF Mania at 10 WCW Worldwide at 11 on my local UPN WWF Superstars at noon on my local Fox when not pre-empted by football WCW Saturday Night at, of course, 6:05
Now I can't even get through a 3 hour Raw. Adulthood sucks sometimes

I love that WWOR ran the Incredible Hulk against the second hour of The Trial of The Incredible Hulk.

I love that WWOR ran the Incredible Hulk against the second hour of The Trial of The Incredible Hulk. Yeah, the Hulk stuff definitely stood out. I also was mentally planning what I would have watched that Saturday morning as a teenager (I probably only caught the last half at that point, and then wrestling would have taken over around noon, even though I was on my way out as a fan by that point).

Insert joke about them not considering WCW "wrestling"
(Which would be inaccurate as this was one of their in-ring high points...)

Two things stand out.
1) Looks so weird seeing WCW Saturday Night following a movie instead of the classic "Fishin' With Orlando Wilson". (To this day, I bet a lot of us know that theme.)
2) Completely forgot The Nashville Network was where you saw NASCAR. (CBS would show select races on Sunday.)

I used to watch 6 hours of wrestling on Saturdays every werk and never tire of it. I still remember the schedule. Wcw pro at 9 Wwf mania at 10 Wcw worldwide at 11 on my local upn Wwf superstars at noon on my local fox when not pre-empted by football Wcw saturday night at, of course, 6:05 Now I can't even get through a 3 hour Raw. Adulthood sucks sometimes Did all these shows contain exclusive matches? Like, did you see the same matches on both Superstars and Mania or were they different? I'm assuming Mania was another recap show?

All had exclusive, different matches, but they were of course mostly squash matches mixed in with recaps and hype for upcoming PPVs and such. Sometimes talents would appear on both shows as well, giving younger me my first indication that this stuff was taped. . Superstars usually featured a decent mid carders main event, while WWF Mania eventually became all recaps before being cancelled in favor of Livewire.

What a great find!
I would have been 14 at this time, so 8am I would be watching WCW Power Hour, but secretly flipping back to Garfield & Friends during commercials (shhhh. don't tell my friends that I was still watching kids cartoons). Then at 9, GWF Major League Wrestling was 100% right up my ally, but flipping over to WBF to laugh at the gross muscle guys. 10am is when it gets a little complicated. Three shows at once. That's a rough choice. Our VCR was the kind that could record something and watch something else at the same time, so if I could manage it, I would probably be watch the USWA studio show, flip over to WCW during commercials, then record the WWF show to watch it after Saved By the Bell. Even though I was super into WCW in '92, the fact that there were three WCW shows on would have swayed me enough to know I didn't HAVE to watch every second of every WCW show.

I'm assuming Mania was another recap show? Mania would have an exclusive match every now and again but was mostly recaps. WCW SN and Worldwide were all exclusive matches, though. They also had Power Hour and Main Event airing every weekend on TBS. I know that sometime in 1993, Power Hour started showing matches from the previous week's Worldwide with different commentary. A few WWE sets have WCW Pro matches from 1993-94 that are just repeats from Saturday Night with Gordon Solie and Larry Zbyszko replacing the original commentary from Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura.

I remember on saturdays if I was inside I could watch...
7 am - 8 am NWA Saturday Morning WCW
10 am - 11 am WWF Superstars
11 am - 12 pm WWF spotlight
6:05 - 7:05 NWA Saturday Night
Solid four hours I’d watch on saturdays
