What are some things you were wrong about? The further off the mark the better!
Rhonda Rousey is the most recent one for me. The WWE cranked the force feed machine up to 11 and I thought she was going to be completely rejected by the audience. It's been quite the opposite.

Pass that corvid dude. I was wrong about Rousey too - I thought that she would suck in the ring and be a bust, but she has been really good.
I thought Shinsuke Nakamura would shatter the glass ceiling and become a main eventer and put on amazing matches. I was wrong about that.
I thought that Randy Orton had nothing left to offer and that he should retire.
I thought that WWE was in the wrong about sending Alberto Del Rio and Page to different brands.

A tag team with Dolph Ziggler would be a terrible way to re-debut Drew McIntyre

The summer Orton and Cena debuted, I had many an argument with my buddy that Orton is gonna be a huge star, and generic shorts Cena was never going anywhere. He definitely won that one.

Velveteen Dream and Elias are two that I had to do a complete 180 on. With Dream, when I first saw the character I thought there was no way it would be taken seriously. Boy was I wrong. And with Elias I didn’t see jack shit in him at first. I used to call him Job Dylan. He’s showed that he’s a master at working a crowd and he’s improved tremendously in the ring.

Bayley would get hugely over and do just as well on the main roster as she did in NXT.
It was a massive mistake to let Damien Sandow go, and he would show everyone exactly why.

A lot of people will be with you on those two.

Rousey for sure. I never would have thought Miz could have become what he is now as well.

- AJ Styles not having a boring ass bad run with a belt. Second time we've seen it happen with him in this company. - Nakamura. His heel turn saved him but it didn't help enough. - HBK returning back to the ring. We know it'll happen and I don't give a damn. - WWE letting the Reigns go pun intended. His push started in late 2013, they've been going strong for 5 years regardless of bullshit. - Strowman. I first thought he'd be trash forever. I used to think he wouldn't become a star. Recently I thought he'd be able to roll with bad booking but he's failing so far, we'll see.

I haven't personally enjoyed much of her work, but there's no denying that she's over big time. She's got people going nuts for an armbar. Jericho would be so proud.

They were both signed around the same time, and I thought Low Ki had a way better shot than Brian Danielson of succeeding in WWE. Ki seemed like he had enough flashy offense and panache to overcome his size (as a performer, he still does, really, it's his attitude that kneecapped his career), while Danielson just seemed too bland and whitebread to make it very far.

Yeah, Ronda for sure. Didn't expect her to be so good so soon.

"D'Lo Brown? Who is this guy? Yikes. They're making anonymous Nation goons into actual members of the roster. Can this guy even wrestle? The WWF is so screwed."

I thought John Cena would be a transitional champion, keeping the belt warm until RVD came back from injury and became the top face.
I expected Dolph Ziggler to be the next Curt Hennig. He became the next Billy Gunn.
In the thread on Kaval/Low Ki we had a while back, I mentioned that his burial in the ring and on commentary genuinely pissed me off. It turned out to be for the best, as he was a headcase and a half, not to mention dangerous in the ring. The recent MLW incident with Daga will likely get its own thread once more facts come out.

I was wrong on that too. And that Daga incident, Jesus. What the f*** is wrong with Brandon Silvestry?

I thought Rusev was going to be nothing more than a dancing comedy character after losing to Cena at Wrestlemania.
