This company has survived so long but I've never really thought about breaking it up into different little segments like we do with WCW and WWE.
What are the major historical divisions in TNA? Here's my first stab.
Return of the Russo - Weekly PPV era Dawn of a New Hope - Fox Sports era/Early Spike TV Era Revenge of the Russo - 07/09 Era The Empire Strikes Back - Hogan and Bischoff Era Russo the Phantom Menace (Exit Spike TV) Attack of the WWE Clone Wars (Destination America Era) The Last Jarrett/GFW Era Anthem/Pop TV Era/Aka I'm out of Star Wars puns...

The Russo Phantom Menace barely lasted a year but essentially killed the company.

2018- Johnny Impact Era...…….or Final Days We've been saying this for years. Some people have been saying it for the company's entire existence. Somehow, they still exist. I am not believing TNA go under until they actually go under.

There should be an era where they were online only until Spike. That was an awesome time.

Nor would holding PPVs in nightclubs or signing Hogan and Bischoff or rehiring Russo six times or the new Monday Night War or going on POP TV in the first place. Every time TNA does something it's the deathwatch again, I've been doing it myself too - and the lesson I have learned every time is somehow TNA is not dead. Not really alive, but definitely not dead. TNA as a promotion is what Undertaker is as a wrestler - a just about living, shambling corpse that looks a little bit like the thing you loved years ago, and until it's actually, shoot dead, will never, ever stop.

Somebody needs to do the Friday the 13th intro with the narrator talking about all the people who have tried to kill Jason but with TNA.
