I don’t regret saying I didn’t find him particularly entertaining or that I didn’t think he was the best choice for the face of the company. Because that’s all a matter of personal tastes. What I do regret saying is, that people within WWE, that always defended him, were mostly toeing the company line. Reading and watching their reactions, it’s clear that this man is revered backstage. And theyre being 100% sincere when speaking about Roman Reigns.

That's some powerful stuff. Kids fighting their own battles and living with that struggle made that video for him

On the custom Roman gear I made for WWE 2K19, I put on the side of his trunks "All for One"

I'm definitely going to cop tht special Roman geas when I get the game when it hits that Black Friday sale. Definitely going to raise his stats to the highest as well. Roman's had a wild journey so to see people giving him the love he deserves is great.

I don't feel a drop guilty for ragging on the Roman Reigns character because none of that was directed towards the performer, and if anything, always felt he could be fixed with better booking and letting more of his natural self shine through. But yeah, I always used to roll my eyes whenever the other guys would publicly defend his place, taking for granted they were just shilling for the company. And now, seeing the backstage video and all the positive stories of him lending a helping hand and being an all around great guy, it now all makes sense. It's just about defending your good friend who you know is an awesome person from strangers who don't know the first thing about them, attacking them over something completely superficial. I'm not going to pretend that this tragedy has made me a retroactive Roman Reigns fan, but Joe the man has all my love and respect.

Unfortunately ignorant ass backlash to this has started. One particular former wrestler who now has a podcast directly said "f*** you" to anyone who booed him before but is supporting the man now.

If there's one thing this tragedy has proven it's that by and large the fans can and have all along been separating reality from fiction, while the wrestlers who think their job is to "work" people just plain can't.

Honestly now that I see that and the line about his name is Joe.
Forget about this whole entire Roman Reigns thing.
I want him to be himself turned up to 10 in this battle.
Joe Anon'i, leukemia survivor.

Here's the video that they sent Roman.
And apparently Roman was there tonight before the tapings started. Not sure why. More than likely he had to get some things settled and maybe give them permission to use his stuff in the Ambrose/Rollins feud.
