Slamboree 1994 is a really underrated show that flies under the radar because it's the last WCW PPV before Hogan came in and shifted focus.

A positive version of the other thread. I'm watching Halloween Havoc 89 and it's a great show but it isn't often brought up as an all time classic. Other examples? No joke came in here to talk Halloween Havoc 1989. My favorite PPV all time.

Canadian Stampede. The main event is always brought up, but the undercard was really solid too. Proof that less can be more, as it didn't have a ton of matches but they were all solid to great.

That's the one where Rock was supposed to face the winner of Undertaker vs. Angle, but Taker tapped out to a choke just as the ref counted 3 after a Last Ride. So they turned into a 3-way. One of my favorite SD shows was the go-home to that PPV. That was for 2002, though that was another solid show as well with Rock/Angle/Taker, Booker/Show, Spike/Bubba vs. Benoit/Guerrero and RVD/Lesnar. 2003 was the best Smackdown PPV, IMO. You had a great PPV with Lesnar/Angle/Show, Benoit/Guerrero and Mysterio/Kidman vs. Haas/Benjamin and the crowd was into everything, even the APA Invitational Brawl which was also entertaining. I always get those two years confused for some reason.

King of the Ring 2000 is such as solid show. Eddie vs. Venis, a Crash upset, Angle vs. Jericho, Venis vs. Rikishi, Angle winning it all, the Fatal 4-Way tag title match, Dudleys vs. DX and a white-hot main event with Triple H/Vince/Shane against The Rock/Undertaker/Kane with the winner of the fall getting the title. The only stinker is the Briscoe-Patterson evening gown disaster for the hardcore title, but even that ends with a massive pop when Crash runs out to ambush them. I consider this show the peak of the Attitude Era.

Battleground 2016 tends to fly beneath radar. The excellent Shield 3-way and Zayn/Owens: The Finale (in retrospect, quite laughable) were worth the price of admission alone, but there's couple other bright spots on the card like Bayley as Sasha's mystery partner and a real fun segment/match with Enzo/Cass/Cena vs The Club.

Most of the WWE PPVs from 2008. I'll pick No Mercy, since I was there.

Survivor Series 1995 due to being in that year.
Incredible ppv and up until that point was the best Survivor Series. Really, the only match that wasn't entertaining was Goldust vs Bam Bam.

This also works Also, just wanted to mention I was at Bound for Glory 2009. Fun show There were actually two more PPVs before Hogan actually showed up. Turning Point 2009 and Final Resolution 2009. Both were really good shows anchored by the Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe and AJ Styles vs. Daniels rivalries. The first show featured a Joe vs. AJ vs. Daniels match that I thought was better than the Unbreakable match.

Beach Blast 92. Sting/Cactus, Rick Rude/Steamboat, Steiners/Miracle Violence Connection! What a great show.

I second that and also add Survivor Series 1996 as well. When the show is brought up now a days it's referred as the PPV where The Rock debuted, but it had a lot more to offer than that. The opening tag match was great, Mankind Vs Taker was good, Bret Vs Austin 1 was fantastic and the main event was one of Sid's best matches of all time (and ended with one of this forums classic memes getting smashed with a camera.) The only real stinker on the card was the Flash Funk, Yokozuna, Savio Vega and Jimmy Snuka Vs Vader, Faarooq, Fake Diesel and Fake Razor match, but at least it was short.

I thought Bash at the Beach 94 was pretty good as well. Hogan/Flair, Austin/Steamboat, Vader/Guardian Angel were my favorite matches that night.

Wasn’t the Hogan announcement right after Bound for Glory and they started airing packages about it? I’m might have been a while before he actually made an appearance. I could be completely wrong though. In that case just swap out Bound for Glory for Final Resolution.

SummerSlam '91. Bret vs. Perfect was the one really good match athletically, but most of the rest was fun, or built up some good moments.
