Anyone watching it right now on Netflix? Managed with the first three new episodes, but since its 4AM I'll probably be finishing it later. {Spoiler}Like, I dunno. It's nice, but so far I was expecting a bit more gore, and it's been a bit lax on that.

I finished it up, it was amazing. I feel like they improved over the first season in nearly every aspect. My Top 3 moments from this season are: {Spoiler}1) BLOODY GOD DAMN TEARS!!!! 2) The fight with Dracula(specifically his death) 3) Trevor finding Vampire Killer(though they don’t call it that in the show, instead it is the Morningstar Whip, but come on, it’s a chain whip with a mace on it that makes vampires explode on impact, and it was a super special Belmont artifact hidden in the family archives...it’s god damn Vampire Killer)

Definitely enjoyed it; it has some pacing issues, I feel, but on the whole I really like and appreciate what they went for and hope that carries over into season 3. Basically, anything negative I can say is mostly a nitpick, like how I was holding out hope that we'd get to see more of a prolonged assault on the castle including a lot of the classic monsters (e.g. Castlevania 1 bosses, etc.), or that the castle itself would be just a bit more chaotic than it was depicted as being so we could get some depictions of platforming hell ala the NES games, but most of that is me just wanting a 1:1 translation of the games to screen, which was never going to be fully feasible. Absolutely got a wonderful nostalgia kick out of {Spoiler}Bloody Tears kicking in; series with some of the best music in gaming history and I was thinking we'd go 12 episodes without a single cover, yet it made the eventual arrival all the more worthwhile. Meanwhile, SLOGRA AND GAIBON YEEEAAAH BOI. Going to be interested in seeing how they handle the series going forward, and if they ever decide to focus on a different point in the CV timeline. I appreciate that they're not trying to adhere too closely to any one of the kind of convoluted timelines in terms of having every single thing match up, so just pick and choose the cool stuff and roll with that.

{Spoiler}That Bloody Tears fight scene was incredible, though they should really use "Beginning" somewhere :as it IS an adaptation of CV3. Also loved seeing the Vampire Killer make vampires literally explode on impact. It was also neat seeing Sypha use the Ice Needles spell from Portrait of Ruin. I also liked that they introduced Hector and Isaac from Curse of Darkness in the second season.

Watched it and enjoyed it
Pacing issues a bit and it seems the established characters took a back seat but it was still very good overall
Issac is a good character

This show was so dope. I binge-watched season 2 last week, and thought it was awesome. Amazing balance of being faithful to the source material, yet mature and intelligent enough with the characters in order to make a story with substance.
