I’m not sure how this was found or if it’s ever been posted on here before but it’s a prank call done by Owen and Bulldog on some random hotel guest in Boston. After years of hearing about Owen’s pranking exploits it’s pretty surreal actually hearing him in action. If this is old hat, my apologies.

I enjoy Owen's ribs. They always seemed to be funny but not mean spirited, as opposed to Curt Henning (who should have got his ass kicked numerous times if the stories are true).

So weird to hear Owen mention Revere. I’m from Medford, which borders it. One factoid is Revere Beach was the closest beach I lived by and it’s disgusting.

The pizza guy seemed to be one of Owen's go-tos, given I remember Bret telling a very similar rib being played on him. And it never failed to get a reaction out of people.

Also, has anyone seen the full movie this is from, The Old Boys?
The makers must have dug pretty deep if they unearthed a prank call from a guy who has been dead for nearly 20 years. I think this is the only one they found though since a portion of it is used for the trailer and no other calls have been mentioned.

That is amazing! Owen was such a talent on so many different levels. Davey Boy was pretty good, too but he's kind of extra while Owen was the star of the prank. I wonder if the lady ever found or, or will ever find out, who it was on the other line.
