That is the slap in the face to the Blue Jays fandom. He is a Blue Jays as far as I am concern, if I am a Blue Jays fan I would feel slighted. As a lifelong Jays fan, I mean yeah. That does kind of sting a bit. There's interviews from the past where Doc said he wanted to go in as a Blue Jay, which is part of what prompted him to sign a one-day contract with the team so he could retire a Jay. But that being said, the part that stings the most is he's not around to stand on that stage with his plaque. It was his family's wish that he not go in with a logo on his cap. Cooperstown is honoring that request.

Newly signed Yankee relief pitcher Adam Ottavino will be the first person in franchise history to wear the number "0."

Cubs signed Brad Brach. Hope his pitching is better than his candy.

Cooperstown is honoring that request. I get that, and totally respect their decision on the matter. It does sting a little (as it would have been nice to have him as the second enshrined Blue Jay), but ultimately, I'm just thrilled to see my favourite pitcher of all-time get the nod. I've already put a reminder in my phone to bust out my Halladay jersey on induction day.

Mike Mussina will go into the HOF neither an Oriole or Yankee and wear a blank cap.

So we have a Owen Hart type thing here, with the widow taking some issue with the organization? I think it's more likely that Roy and the Halladay family were fond of both Philadelphia and Toronto and they didn't want to snub one in favor of the other. You're making it out to sound more sinister than it likely is.
Mussina's doing the same thing by going in with a blank cap, as he was very fond of both Baltimore and New York.

At this point, I think we can get either Machado or Harper to sign with the FAN softball league (managed by Sid).
They can also have all the Big League Chew they can stuff in their mouths.

Mets sign LHP Justin Wilson to a 2 year, 10 million dollar deal.
Lots of walks but a TON of K's. Another bullpen boost. Love it.

Kenley Jansen had off season heart surgery and has already lost 25 pounds. Hopefully he stays healthy and gets back on track.

Bryce Harper has hit under .250 in two of the last threee seasons. He hasn’t had an elite season in 4 years. He’s a guy who deserves to get paid, but should he be getting $35M a year lus for ten years ? That sounds risky
