The series they had plus the 3 man matches March and April of that year.
Did they really live up to the expectations of a "dream match" scenerio?
Back in 1997 and watching these guys in separate companies, when they finally locked up did it deliver?
And if so, what was their best singles match to watch on the WWE network?

I don't really remember any of them. Problem was that this was during the Triple H is king era, where regardless of whether he was champion or not, he was the goddamn main event, dammit! So anything not involving him tended to get lost in the shuffle.
They probably should have done the singles match at Backlash, instead of redoing the Mania three way. It was in Canada, so you knew Shawn would get booed, and Trips was going to get many more title shots anyway (t'was the style of the time), so you don't lose that awesome chestnut either.

I remember they had a great match on an episode of Raw that they promoted for about a month straight.

Was this before or after Shawn decided 86 percent of his offense needed to be knife-edged chops? I know that plagued a lot of his return, where, I dunno, being sober meant he forgot how to throw f***ing punches.
I remember the matches being good, but not really quite as much my thing as HBK versus some others.

I don’t remember much about 2007 WWE but I thought his style changed after that’s mania match with flair.

2004 WWE is my jam, but I haven’t watched these matches since I was 9. I remember them being pretty awesome, especially the World Title match that had my favorite announcement ever.
HBK: I want your title Benoit: I’m better than you Bischoff: HBK/Benoit for the title!...in 2 weeks Everyone: ....okay

I remember them having a great match that was ruined by HHH interference, I remember the match being hyped for a match in AZ. I believe this set up a HIAC match between HBK and HHH.

Yeah they had two matches on Raw, both were really good, and both had Trips interfere in the outcome.
And yeah HBK spammed the hell out of those chops, noticed it really around this time in 04.
