If you going back to that era and acknowledging its excistence, first of all have to address the pink elephant in the room, what happened to Scrappy Doo. And Ok! Ko recently did an episode with the Ghowl School girls, I wonder if they will come back in the future. That's as likely as Chris Benoit being included in a Radicalz Debut story mode in 2K1x.

I haven't been this excited about Scooby-Doo since "Deception of a Generation" called it an occult corruption aimed at kids. Oh???

I’m 33 and I feel like Scooby Doo was a pretty garbage cartoon even when I was a kid. Saw more than a few of the episodes in periphery while growing up but it never struck me as anything worth watching. I get why they’re making a new film for that sweet, sweet nostalgia money, but I’m sure it’ll be every bit as good as the old ones were.

Good lord, it's been so long since I last saw an episode of 13 Ghosts... I didn't even remember that it ended without an ending.
And hey, if a movie like this is possible, maybe they'll actually get around to making that mega-crossover between Scooby-Doo, Josie & the Pussycats, Captain Caveman, Jabberjaw, and any other Hannah-Barbara property I'm forgetting about that involves a team of hip young mystery-solvers and their strange mascot character all getting together to solve the biggest mystery of all time. I tried writing the fanfiction myself, but every ending I could think of ended up with Old Man Jenkins as the culprit.

Seriously.

Why bring back Flim Flam? Didn't they establish he went to jail or some shit in What's New Scooby Doo? Mystery incorporated and technically that was a different cannon. Okay, question time. I know franchises like Godzilla and Legend of Zelda have a lot of different timelines, etc. that are constantly being dissected by fans and such, but...is there any sort of concrete chart/view on how many different continuity timelines Mystery Inc have had in animated form (not even gonna try to include comics)? Which shows and movies are connected, and which ones couldn't have been part of the same continuity, etc?

Maurice LaMarche, is there anything you can't do? Also, I'm getting this weird flashback to an old Scooby Doo episode during the run where it was only Shaggy and Daphne with Scooby and Scrappy where Fred and Velma show up as a surprise. Have to check if I'm making that up in my imagination. Nope, you ain't making it up. There was an episode where they did a "This is Your Life" sorta thing with Scooby Doo celebrating his birthday. And Velma and Freddy were the surprise guests. They showed an old mystery where Freddy and Scooby catch the ghost. And then things start to happen, and Freddy is nearly framed for the problems. But then it turns out that it was the villain who played the ghost, trying to get revenge on Freddy and Scooby.

Funky Phantom Inch High Private Eye The CB Bears Show The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids Clue Club Hanna-Barbera really liked using that genre. Off topic, I friggin' loved the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids theme music.

This is both weird and awesome. I think it would be really fun if they decided to do sequels to all of the old Scooby spin offs like Ghoul School and Pup Named Scooby Doo.

There have been Scooby Doo animated movies galore over the last 20-25 years; virtually nothing for any of those other H-B properties. Our best bet for them is DC Comics, who puts out 1-2 waves of DC/H-B crossover comics a year now (they're usually quite excellent), a few miniseries (Flintstones and Snagglepuss are must reads), 2 series of Future Quest (pretty much all the superhero types) and, of course, the 1 ongoing series of the bunch: Scooby Apocalypse, which is around #30 now - and honestly, considering the quality of the other books, being "decent" could possibly make it the worst of the bunch.

Since we open pandora's reference this era, one fo these days got see the Ghoul School girls and have them meet the Hex Girls. Also I love to see Fred, Daphine, and Velma's reaction when they find out Shaggy at a girlfriend at one point. I could see Fred just refuse to believe it. "Shaggy had a girl friend, really?"

"And he's a werewolf?!!" If I remember correctly, didn't the last episode have it that the 12 ghosts that were captured get released again, causing them to be like, "Well, here we go again"?

When it comes to the Ghoul School girls I kind of just want more of them in OK KO. They fit in super well.
