I mean, those people WERE allegedly so cold their breath wasn't visible, because that's totally how heat works.
Nah, you know the Frozen I mean. Been a few years since I've seen it so this isn't really a re-evaluation on my part or anything but I dunno, it's randomly in my head tonight and kind of wondering about how of late the movie seems to be widely seen as heavily overrated.
I'm... I dunno, sort of mixed. I've seen it more than once even though it's been awhile at this point, and I kind of caught it after it'd already been around for awhile. On a first viewing where I somehow hadn't even heard Let It Go yet (I don't know HOW, because the second I saw the movie I was suddenly hearing the song absolutely everywhere) I loved it, though on repeat ones...
I'm still very positive on it on the whole but I can think of a lot of things I do take issue with. The romance is exactly as vapid and rushed as they're going out of their way to say is dumb, a lot of the intended comic relief isn't funny, the movie just kind of forgets it's a musical halfway through it, the Hans twist only works the first time you see the movie and falls apart and just leaves the movie without a good villain otherwise (a problem a lot of Disney movies have these days really), could really keep going for a bit since movie does certainly have its flaws.
But I dunno. I still love Let It Go and end of the day I still think Do You Want to Build a Snowman is heartbreaking and a lot of the one-liners are amusing. Really not especially negative on the movie but I do find myself not quite as high on it as I once was. Am definitely curious about the sequel though, even if not especially optimistic about it.

I liked it on release and rewatched it a few weeks ago with my 2 year old Niece and still enjoyed it

Tangled was superior. I've rewatched that a lot; I saw Frozen once. So I can't comment on how it's aged, all I know is I was good with only seeing it the one time.
I liked the theme of the relationship being between the sisters rather than the usual 'You get a Prince! She gets a Prince! Everyone gets a Prince!' Disney thing. But otherwise it didn't do it for me.

5/10 movie that broke no new ground, propped up by a mediocre 4 chords of pop song that happened to be sung well.
Though the fact that the film, its marketing or that stupid song WILL NOT GO AWAY makes my opinion of it worse.

I'm over it. In fact, I honestly believe that everyone should let it go.

Haven't seen it. Don't wanna see it. Why? Because of that god damn song.

It's alright. Not the best. But the songs are good. The villain twist got me and the focus on sister relationship was something different.

It passes the test of not infuriating adults on repeat viewings by toddlers in my family. So I guess it wins.

I only saw it once around the time it first came out for home viewing, but I found it a worthy addition to the Disney princess stuff.

I thought and still think it was perfectly serviceable, but other than the lovely songs, didn't see it as terribly groundbreaking. I don't really want to say it's overrated as, being a child-free adult in their mid-thirties, I don't feel that's my call to make. But it seemed a bit, I don't know, rushed and a bit empty. But, like I said, I'm not a child nor do I have one, so maybe it works better for the target demographic. Just wanted to add, the Halloween after Frozen was released, my friend's young daughter had two holiday parties to attend. For one, she chose to dress as Elsa. For the other? She chose Kylo Ren

That movie-length toy ad robbed Miyazaki at the Oscars. I have never forgiven Disney for that.

It was fine. Looked amazing. Glad it was a movie about sisters moreso than about the Disney prince/princess romance. .......hey, wanna head the audio of the blood test scene from THE THING reenacted with claymation Frozen visuals? www.youtube.com/watch?v=dooAjI6yOhg(Wish I could imbed this, but there's nsfw language.)

There was so many ways they could've done Hans instead of "I've really been evil all this time. LOL!"

It's weird, I'm so apathetic to it. Didn't like it. Don't get the hate for it. My Gf hates it. Even when I worked at Disney, die-hard Disney fans hated it. But it was so popular, right? I'm guessing young kids really f***ed with it, I dunno. I actually really liked Tangled, and I'm surprised it's not the massive beast that Frozen is.
