Last time I remember a pair of tag partners falling like this was the Hardys. Some other similarities, the most over tag team for a while despite not being the best. Matt/Cass took a break up badly and went down the self pity/heavy drinking route. Jeff/Enzo fell out of love with the business and tried to pursue a career in art/music despite not being very good at it. Main difference is was that the Hardys were very experienced and skilled wrestlers with a lot of connections in the business so there was a more feasible route back to the top once they had sorted themselves out. The other difference? About eight million dollars.
