So I toldja all of the suckiness of number 23 last week.. welp caught a bargain showing of Ghost Rider..phew.
The positives.
Eva Mendes was hot.
Sam Elliot was Sam Elliot- the man is always awesome even in steaming piles o' crap.
The negatives.
Pretty much everything else. I hope Nic Cage got a good chunk o' cash.. cuz wow, this flick was terrible.
And ya'll know me, I'm usually not all negative.. but woof what a bad slate of movie going of late. Hopefully when I get the chance to see 300, it'll make up for these back to back turkeys.

All I need to know about Ghost Rider is that it made Paul London (of all people) fall asleep. Somebody with that much zany energy getting ko'ed by a movie must be a sign.

I saw 300 tonight. It was indeed good. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys their blood and gore. And Eva Mendes being hot is always a positive.

300 is frickin' great (if you love senseless violence). I think it could make up for just about any bad movie.

"Zodiac" is a great movie. And "23", while technically a bad film, at least held my interest, which was far from the case with "Because I Said So" (yes, I saw it) and "Epic Movie."

Everyone who tells me about 300 tells me it's a steaming pile o' crap, in the same sense as to what fell on Biff.

I didn't mind ghost rider
I wouldn't say it was great like Spiderman or Batman begins but as far as comic movies go you can find worse.

Ghost Rider looked terrible from the commercials. I guess I was right.

I saw 300 yesterday and it's got it's moments. I'm a history buff so I was trying to distinguish fact from fiction in that. I knew the story beforehand so I knew what would happen. I'm pretty immune to blood and gore in movies plus the blood looked somewhat unrealistic and it was too much "Hollywood" for me with the elephants, rhinos, etc. to stay historically accurate.
But besides that it's a fine movie. Not great, but not bad. If they actually shot on location and made everything look realer it would have helped.

You know its based on a graphic novel and not supposed to be historically accurate or look real right? Though i do find it hilarious that it was the elephants and rhinos and not the guy with saws for arms or the countless other monsters that made it lack realism for you.

And yeah, the hunchback, the man-beasts and all those made it unrealistic for me also. Not to mention Spartans had chest and shin armor. You know its based on a graphic novel and not supposed to be historically accurate or look real right?
