They left two of their best guys (Randy Orton and AJ Styles--three if you count John Cena) off the team for no reason, but had room for a 48 year old executive? Yeah, they deserved to lose.

By the way 20 people didn't kill themselves for WWE to say the pre-show match didn't matter. Imagine being Kallisto with the injured leg, or anyone involved in that German Suplex spot and then the company telling people you're irrelevant. This is horseshit. Agreed. Especially for the Usos and New Day. The Usos are perpetually over workhorses, and New Day have made Vince buttloads of merch money. But who cares? They're proper tag teams so screw them, right?

In Smackdown's defense, it must have been terribly demoralizing to lose The Man just days before the event. I don't think I've recovered from it, and I only get to bask in her greatness through a computer monitor every week.

Apparently...
Meltzer said it was supposed to be a clean sweep but somehow there was a miscommunication and SDL got the win. Vince wanted a clean sweep so that's why they had to try and fix it.
Somebody f***ed up.

Somebody f***ed up. So the buried and with as much heat as deep space Raw Tag Team division was supposed to beat Smackdown? Yikes.

Somebody f***ed up. Which says to me that there's definitely some story at play here for SDL. Wonder where they're trying to go with this.

This just in.
Jimmy Hart used his Power of Attorney to add Gran Metallik to the match officially. How does Jimmy Hart have this Power of Attorney? I dunno.
The Usos never eliminated Gran Metallik, and therefore he is the sole survivor.
Welcome the the Piñata Penitentiary.

I actually wouldn't mind the clean sweep as much (and I would probably still hate it, although I kind of appreciate it for being unexpected) if Raw hadn't won the preceding two years, including another occasion where they'd won it before the last match went out.
