Madness. That's no way to treat a wild animal, making it drink from a coffee mug and eat off a f***ing spoon.

I wouldn't trust a wild animal like that, it's natural instincts could kick in at anytime and you'd be toast.

Humanity has domesticated dogs and cats.. two animals that have apex predator species ..
Shame we could not domesticate a small version of a bear. That would be so adorable.

Its not just big bears that are dangerous, even small dogs youd never expect to attack have killed small children...its very very rare but it can happen Then there was the time they invited a kangaroo into a kiddie TV studio , they got a taste of "legs of fury"....lets just say they never did that again Its possible the bear has its own wooden water bowl , we never see one in that clip though....maybe they did that just for show

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, an animal that dangerous shouldn't be owned by humans. On the other hand, he was a cub taken from a zoo, so capitivity would likely be his best chance at survival. And these people seem to love him very much and care for him as well as anyone possibly could. So while I wouldn't be shocked if he mauled them to death like that one guy who used to post videos of himself with bears, some part of me has to maybe admire these people for a capacity to love an animal so much to keep it despite overwhelming logic otherwise.

Yep this is not going to end well for both the owner and the bear.

And in one or two years time when the bear mauls this idiot, it'll be oh so tragic and unexpected. The bear will be killed for being a bear that this idiot has trained to do tricks, that has no fear of humans and associates them with readily available food.

Timothy Treadwell thought he had a personal relationship with bears too. They got to know him inside and out They couldn’t just jump into the relationship. First they had to maul it over.

Lord Byron brought a bear with him to college because they wouldn't let him keep a dog.

What about Bart? He did movies and even appeared at the Oscars. I don't ever recall an incident with him. Even actors saying they loved him and were never scared of working with him.
I know it's not really the same, but if you really raise and train an animal, I guess it could work.
But would I do it? Hell no. Haha.
