Not to victim-blame here, but what is the value in booking someone like Brutus, or indeed most wrestlers from prior to the Attitude Era at this point? They can't go in the ring anymore (not to near the extent they might have been able to in the past), often were ever in the business only because of the money and often had no interest in helping the local talent out with whatever wisdom they might impart. Brutus's career and relevance should have ended when WCW folded.

With the promoter making a prepared statement, boy does he need to learn how to get to the point a little quicker.

The bigger question is who in their right mind would want to book Brutus every day for 32 days straight?

it's too early for me to read that much "I've got to get my side of the story out, but I also need to reach my word count for my AP English paper."

The most depressing part of the story is 500 dollars Canadian, or 664 canadian is "Three weeks worth of wages" for this promoter and I assume what he expected to pay Brutus. Why would ANYONE become a wrestler? I make more money than that at my job. And like, LOTS more.

In addition to being horribly long it is also terribly written and really boring. If his wrestling is anything like his writing he may have found the cure for insomnia.

A few things I can add for context since I attended one of the shows Beefcake appeared at.
He didn’t wrestle. He had a table to sign autographs, take pics and sell T-shirts The T-Shirts were iron on drawing of Beefcake. Not licensed merch. Like something you’d get at a mall kiosk. Was complaining of not having change. Worked me when I asked for two autographed 8x10’s. “It’s supposed to be $40 but I’ll sell for $35. He acted as outside referee. This led to him cutting a lock of a guys hair with the hedge clippers. He left the ring, walked directly to the concession, got beers and sat at his table. He did come through the curtain for his entrance. Which is nice but he had been at his merch table 2 feet from the crowd all night He was polite but not friendly. Only been to the show Ron Simmons was at before but Beefcake certainly drew more people to the show than were there previously.
