The Corino/Bagwell incident on that same show. What happened? I may have heard of this before but I forgot. Bagwell and Corino (who I think may have been NWA champ at the time, but I forget) were supposed to have a match at the show. Once Bagwell got there, he balked at putting Corino over, they got into it verbally, and Jack Victory ended up taking Corino's place in the match and taking the pin. Then Corino cut a pretty vicious shoot promo on Bagwell in the ring.

He came out, got the pop he deserved. Then Colt came out and the crowd went nuts. Bagwell was left wondering who Cabana was. At least that’s the way Colt told it.

Or am I confusing ISWs? I'm thinking of the one that was affiliated with IWS in Montreal. I just took a look, and I think I know where the confusion might be, there was an Incredibly Strange Wrestling that originated out of SF, not Montreal. Mike Rotch's ISW is a completely different promotion with the same initials. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incredibly_Strange_WrestlingBut yeah, both ISW and IWS are still going strong. I used to hit up both many years ago when I lived near Montreal. I actually got to see Steen defend the IWS title in a field in Hemminford. Good times.

I'd like to see the following: Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW) Dallas wrestling after World Class (It could be a series of shows starting with USWA Dallas, followed by GWF followed by CWA (The Dallas one) and Big D wrestling) The last days of The United States Wrestling Association (1995-97 when the Monday Night War forced wrestling fans to stay home and watch PPV quality matches for free on Nitro and/or Raw causing USWA's Mid South shows already decimated attendance-wise to further decline)

.... Wait a tick, I forgot MCW (Music City Wrestling) Memphis Power Pro Wrestling and Memphis Championship Wrestling (Which famously had a war with each other in 2000)

Oo oo, another idea. How about HUSTLE? I imagine Brian can have fun with the gimmicks and overall on-screen story of the promotion.

Global force wrestling? Reading the Wikipedia page gives me a headache. Of all the great suggestions we've had in this thread, that one is probably one of the most likely. It's still just recent enough to be in people's memories and the chore of tracking down available footage and information is going to be easier than with some of the others.

Even though they're still active (I think) Roland Alexander era All Pro Wrestling would make for a pretty interesting piece. They got a lot of shine in the Beyond the Mat documentary.
I also may have already commented in here but, XPW for me would be probably the most recent fed I'd like to see covered. So much scandal, yet if you really dig into forums of the time and listen to some of the people involved like Douglas, it really did have alot of potential (or so he says, who knows lol).

Anybody mention the NWC... National Wrestling Conference? Very short lived company in mid 90s in Vegas that even got the Ultimate Warrior for a short run
Or the AWA Superstars of Wrestling that claimed to be the same company as the original AWA?

Roland died a few years ago.

So, I've no idea where I should be asking this, this thread seems to be the latest thing around about Wrestling with Wregret, and as far as I've been able to figure so far there doesnt seem to be like a general wrestling with wregret thread? So I'm just going to throw my question here.
So uh, I've been watching all of the classic Pay Per View videos in the playlist, and have become rather frustrated that WWE has apparently blocked the Survivor Series 1990, St Valentine's Day Massacre, and MITB 2011 reviews on copyright grounds. (Insert grumbling about copyright law here). Anyone have any clue for how long that has been the case? Like is this very recent? Because I havent been able to find anything anywhere on the internet about it. Has Brian himself acknowledged the blocking or mentioned any plans to reupload or whatever? Does he upload the videos anywhere else that they may have not been taken down or anything, like Botchamania does? I'd really like to watch those reviews.

I have a couple more things to add to the Wregret Wrestling promotion graveyard: Continental Championship Wrestling aka The Continental Wrestling Federation and U.S.A Wrestling out of Knoxville which was a short lived territory

Not reading the whole thread, but I'll nominate WCPW/Defiant Wrestling and Lucha Underground, maybe for a few years down the line. I'd especially love to get his take on LU.

APW is still active under a different owner. Brian Zane has been a manager in APW for the Classic Connection and Levi Shapiro for a few years now. Zane probably wouldn't want to do a show that could shine a negative light on his home promotion. I agree with you though there is a lot to APW's story. Especially Khali accidentally killing another trainee and how they came back from near bankruptcy to once again being a major player on the indy scene.

I love how while GFW never released footage from their Minor league baseball staduim tour. There is plenty of fancams of the footage. I know 3 different people were filming the Jackson MS show.
