youtu.be/pu0Gv3K2yg8Back in 2006/2007, Swoggle was the cool thing to hate on. I didn't like him making some of the larger, credible guys look foolish either. But Swoggle himself was always a talented worker IMO. He had great chemistry with Finlay, and matches like this and the WeeLC one let him show off his range. I love serious wrestling, but sometimes I need something ridiculous. Plus I'm a Boogeyman mark anyway.

I was a legit Boogeyman mark. Yeah he wasn’t great in the ring but he LIVED that gimmick.

On an aside, this was the very first thing I saw when I decided to watch wrestling regularly in 2007.
The fact that they brought in a midget to play as "Little Boogey" for a one-off for this feud was just... wow.

I still want to see a Mini Rumble staring Hornswoggle, Booker Wee, Super Porky, El Torito and other minis like Rey Mysterio

Swoggle has more entertaining stuff in his catalogue than his legacy would suggest. He was employed by WWE for about a decade, it's quite impressive, and honestly... I even find some of his terrible stuff entertaining. That Loony Toons spot with Dolph? Priceless. As someone else said, I don't want this in every segment, but I'm happy to have one segment per show be some stupid bullshit like that.

I love ridiculous stuff in wrestling, but Hornswoggle just made me feel like I was too old to be watching every time he was on screen. Same with dudes like The Boogeyman and Santino Marella. Like, I love having lots of silly shit in my wrestling, but I don't like feeling like I'm waking up to CBC children's programming at 5 AM and grimly contemplating if my life is headed to single motherhood full of mornings like these.

This led to one of my favorite moments ever, when Finlay whacked Boogeyman over the head with the Shillelagh and imitated the Boogeyman Twitch Dance.

I kind of liked when he was the grungy hobo (for some reason dressed like a leprechaun) who popped out from under the ring and cracked open cans of Guinness. But other than that...

I'll agree there; starting out as this weird little helper of Finlay wasn't terrible. It's when they started treating a grown man with a full beard like a toddler where it got insufferable.

The really annoying part for me was them for some reason not letting him speak, just grunt and snarl. Even when he was in 3MB.
