Something sounds fishy about this. "Leave me outta this."

F4W's daily update says this: Dave Meltzer is reporting that Miller returned to Australia when his child was born and decided to stay. The door isn't shut on him returning at some point if he chooses to. Shane Thorne, Miller’s tag team partner, is still under WWE contract. Well, that's good, at least. He made the right call for him.

On the plus side, now he won't have to worry about getting new boots.

That’s a shame. I wanted to see the team do well, but they’d quickly fallen down the pecking order on the face side and it was only the absence of any other heel team beyond Undisputed Era that kept them as the #2 heel team by default.
Thorne’s got enough of the personality from the duo to make a decent go of it in singles.

On the plus side, now he won't have to worry about getting new boots. ... What? Dude literally spent 90% of his run with his old boots with his initials around the wrong way.

So where does TM-30.5 go from here?

On the plus side, now he won't have to worry about getting new boots. ... What? Ever since he first signed with NXT, his boots have had the initials MN on them, for Mikey Nicholls (his real name/former ring name). When they changed his name to Nick Miller, he never got new boots with the initials flipped around. It was a bit of a running joke in threads involving him/The Mighty.

I also never really really followed them before they came to NXT, so I wasn’t even aware they had changed his ring name.

Shame, I heard Dong was a stand-up guy. Funny....I heard he was a dick. Reminds me of the tag team The Dicks. They thought they were prematurely released but they had a hard time in the land of hosses.

So where does TM-30.5 go from here? Either he rounds down and learns Shadow Ball, or rounds up and learns Brick Break.

Can't blame a guy with little to no upward mobility at the moment for deciding to prioritize his newborn kid. Developmental contracts aren't very much at all, and a lot of people can make the "away from my kids for the money" case to themselves, but not only can some not, but if there isn't even great money in it, what's the point?

I liked TM-61... but they got lost in the shuffle after that really bad timing on Shane's injury. I did like the subtle character things they did with them... like when they were talking to Regal for the setup for their title match and Nick came in wearing a finely pressed suit and Shane came in wearing a suit that looked like he had slept in for the past 3 days... But by the time they came back there really was no room for them... and Nick's entire deal was he was a good technical wrestler but didn't have like any real charisma to him the WWE have a bunch of Technical guys that actually have charisma to spare on top of it... so I could see him realizing the writing was on the wall eventually and quit to be with his kid rather than stay as a mostly developmental tag guy which... can't be terribly profitable. then again maybe he was fired for never getting his boots fixed

Can't say I was a fan honestly found them a bit boring. And they are kind of obsolete as heels since we have the UE around dominating the tag titles for the year.
