Kind of an obscure one to pull out, but I have seen it referred to here before. Based on what little info is out there, back in 2011 DDP and Hogan tried to produce a psychological horror movie called Black River that would have seen DDP playing a troubled man trying to get his life back together only to end up being framed as a serial killer-and Hogan would have played the actual killer who set him up. Ultimately all that ended up happening was they took a few publicity stills and shot a teaser/trailer to try to woo potential investors-but no one did invest and it went unproductive. It seems like a very oddball kind of project for these two, but you probably need to bare in mind that Page at not yet emerged as the miracle working trainer to the stars and Hogan was already in a career slump, probably thanks in no small part to that sex tape. And apparently the Hulkster thought that this was his last chance to prove he could be a “serious” actor. Yes you just read that. Correct me if I got anything wrong.
