So any shoot interviews in which Jake Roberts says what he thought of Babydoll? I know it is kind of personnel, so he might never talked about her in shoot interviews. etc.
I always imagined someone like Jake, he probably thought she was a gold digger, which ironicly was her on screen character.

I don’t think Jake cared enough about her to comment on anything, he has never mentioned Sam either as far as I know.

I don't know if I've ever seen or heard Jake talk about Sam Houston, Rockin' Robin, or their lives or careers. I don't know if they were close at all, though I'm sure none of them had any love for Grizzly Smith, anyway, so maybe it was a conscious decisions to avoid other family.
If Babydoll were a gold digger, it'd be weird for her to go to Sam for it, given she was probably the bigger star when they were together.

I dunno, listening to Jake, he was mostly concerned about his next fix than anything going on around him.

And her dating, then marrying Houston royally pissed off Dusty Rhodes, who booked them into the Central States territory, forcing them to quit go to the UWF, with Baby Doll ending up right back with Crockett after the buyout, and she'd then get fired almost immediately after because Sam was working for the competition by that point. If Baby Doll was a gold digger, she would have latched on to Dusty, who wanted her and actually had gold for her to dig. From my understanding, Jake was never close to Sam and Robin and didn't even grow up with them for the most part.

I've got three older step brothers I've seen maybe a dozen times total over my lifetime as they were all adults when my dad married their mother (assuming they're still married, been years since I've spoken to or seen my dad either). So I honestly never think of those dudes at all.
Probably the same kinda scenario here.

The only relationship between Jake and Sam I know of was Jerry Gray telling stories about a f***ed up Jake missing a booking and sending Sam in his place. Regarding Babydoll being a gold digger, lol you’re right if she was one she would’ve dated Dusty or the Horsemen not jobber Sam. In the Raven- Honky Tonk Man shoot when they started reading the dirtiest rumors in wrestling, they started laughing at the one that read that Dusty fired Babydoll because she married Sam instead of him. Raven then said there was some truth to the rumor and that Dusty couldn’t stand Babydoll being a big star and being in a relationship with a jobber.

Well, Jake and his siblings were raised separately, for one.
For two, it's gotta be the start of a weird relationship when the only common thread you have is an abusive father that you hate.
I'm just guessing, but I don't think there's any enmity between the siblings, I just think it's horribly awkward for all of them.
"Our dad sure was a piece of shit, huh?" *awkward silence*

Baby Doll grew up in the business (her dad was a promoter in Texas, I believe). So it's not like she came into the business blind.
