I know the DQs for the main event are controversial to say the least but I'm generally alright with them in that they tend to further storylines and the matches (like The Beast vs. Jungle Grrrl) are good.

DQ in the main event... Hell in a Cell borrow WOW's booker? Either that or whoever was booking the Beer Money vs. British Invasion Six Sides of Steel Tag match back in 2009.

Welcome to WOW, where the matches don't matter and the faces are pathetic.
That's right, the faces are more pathetic than those in WWE.

Tag match sucked. Stephy/Disciplinarian was meh.
David McLane might be the worst authority figure ever. It took him the entire show to realize what he should've figured out all along.
Why is it that we only get mains of somewhat decent length without f***ery when Tessa's involved? Why can't others get that main event shine? Overshilling again.
Going to miss Abilene when this taping run ends. She's the unsung hero of this show.

See WOW, once again, when you give a main event some time, it's a good match.

WOW has its season finale this week.
Roddy Piper's daughter Teal who had signed with them never did appear.

Fire & Adrenaline won the WOW Tag Titles

I don't know if this was the season finale or the finale for the first half but what an amazing two episodes. Fire & Adrenaline winning the tag team belts and in something I didn't see coming, The Beast pinning Tessa to win the WOW Championship. I really liked the Exile's beatdown and can't wait to see where this goes. I also liked how they wrote Abilene Maverick out as Barbi Hayden leaves wrestling. Another thing I liked was the Jeanie Buss presentation.

This might be weird, but one of the things that I liked about this was that it gave Fury/Harlow O'Hara some exposure, she's one of the rising stars of the North American indy scene and hopefully she gets more and more attention after this, she deserves it.
Also, I don't mind Tessa getting a big push; she's awesome, why wouldn't you push her?

On the whole, much better than the last season finale. They're learning.
I didn't think they'd actually take the belt off Tessa. I quite literally shouted "THANK GOD" when the finish went down. Now hopefully they'll scale back her push a ton, so that she no longer overshadows most of the roster.
Things I would've cut out...
1. The Jeanie Buss ceremony. Self-indulgent twaddle. If she was serious about changing the perception of women's wrestling, she'd rein McLane in on things like some of the more stupid booking decisions. 2. That bad Teal Piper interview segment that went nowhere. If she's going to antagonize Stephy that much, why not have her attack Stephy post-match and set something up for next season? 3. Possibly the Eye Candy segment, for the simple fact that it's outdated and Willow's already back wrestling. This prob'ly should've been aired earlier in the season.
I would've also liked something more for the Exile contingent, a video package during the finale maybe? Explain a little bit more and actually introduce Exodus and Genesis by name so that I don't have to find out who they are from Twitter? Apparently Malia Hosaka's a pretty horrible-sounding person (I mean, this is someone who actually hates Molly Holly, FFS), so this might not end well.
AND DON'T F***ING TEASE THAT PSYCHO SISTERS VS. HOLIDEAD/SIREN/AUSSIE 6-WOMAN THEN LEAVE ME HANGING!

You push talented people, yes, but you don't push them to the extent that WOW pushed Tessa up to this point, where the push actually starts becoming an active detriment to the product. It gets incredibly annoying to see one person treated as an end-all be-all while the rest of the roster doesn't even get decent showings. She got the majority of the hype, commentary overshilled her to the extreme, the booking to give her the title was incredibly awful... And yeah, Malia hating Molly boggles my mind too.

Fair point, it seems like Impact have been pushing Tessa a lot better because they haven't just been elevating her, they've been elevating other people on the card like Ace Austin, The North, Rich Swann and Jake Crist; so, like, Impact focus on Tessa...but not just on Tessa.

I enjoyed this season. I always enjoy campy storylines like Princess Aussie's bamboo sticks being destroyed and Stephy Slays bully problem were my favorites. It was strange though that Amber O'Neill is betrayed by Lana Starr which should garner her a lot of sympathy and then they team her with probably the most fan antagonistic wrestler on the roster in Jessie Jones. As for these two eps;
- I don't see Tessa being overpushed or whatever, it was a storyline and she played her part great. I thought she had her best match with Reyna Reyes. - Teal Talk was just doing evoking the Piper's Pitt spirit. I liked it, but it's the first we've seen it, they might not have felt Teal was ready for it to be a recurring segment yet. I wouldn't want Teal to attack Stephy at the end and do another bully storyline. Teal was just being a jerk interviewer. - Malia Hosaka with a pretty good promo.

Well looks like its all over for WOW. AXS is removing it from TV the same way they did New Japan earlier this year.
The only real highlight was Reina Reyes and hope she gets a look by AEW.

So this was the only time that Harlow O'Hara / Fury has gotten close to TV? What a bummer. She's so damn good.

Looks like their getting rid of the silly gimmicks of WOW, Wrestlious, and Glow of the past, and just concentrate on building a decent women's roster. Another place for women to get work and be seen I'm all for it.
