From Wrestlemania VI, and it's a classic:
Ventura: "I've got Paul Newman's eyes, I've got kirk Douglas' chin and Robert Duvall's haircut. How could I lose?"
Gorilla: "What do you have of your own, Jess?"
Ventura: "... And here comes Brutus!"

Oh you're kiding me, are you kidding me? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?- Jerry Lawler the announcer turns into Jerry Lawler the booker as he realizes what is happening at Survivor Series '97. I think Lawler was just reacting to Shawn using Bret's own hold against him. He didn't say anything once it happened.

I think that's because as a long time booker & wrestler he wasn't gonna expose the business. If you watch the clip his voice gets louder when Earl Hebner gets up. He figured that something was up.

He might have known, but the "you're kidding me" also fits even if the planned DQ finish happened because he was saying that as soon as it was clear Shawn was going to put the Sharpshooter on Bret.

My personal favorite is a Jim Ross call from a previous survivor series, when Shawn Michaels managed to make it a one on one match despite being out manned three men to one. Still he got beaten thanks to outside interference, and Jim Ross gave one of the most incredibly (kayfabe) poignant calls of his life when he said “Shawn Michaels did everything a human being could do to win this match… But it wasn’t enough” I believe that was the 2003 one, where he was the last man standing on Team Austin and he took out Christian and Jericho but Batista helped Orton finish him off. Speaking of Orton, a great Cole line from the Hell In A Cell match at Armageddon 2005: "There is really no question that this match lived up to its name, 'Hell In A Cell:' Randy Orton came to play in the Devil's Playground, and Randy Orton lost." I remember the part where Jericho attacks HBK after being eliminated and JR goes "what a no good piece of garbage that Jericho is". I just remember the way he said it with such disdain and disgust.

When Austin returned to No Way Out 2003 and JR said something like “and by gawd he came to whip another man’s ass!” It sounded so passionate and real.

Monsoon's "This is it! The FINAL TIME!" as Savage is doing his four-corners goodbye at WM7 was accidentally powerful. It made you realize they weren't messing around on that retirement stipulation and the Macho Man was really done as a wrestler*. * until returning six months later, winning the WWF title at the next year's WrestleMania and continuing on as a featured player through the end of the '90sMy favourite part of the commentary during the whole Macho Liz reunion is that when Sherri gets back into the ring after Warrior leaves and starts laying the boots into Macho Man even Bobby Heenan thinks she's going too far "He did his best Sherri" Must have been the first time Heenan ever went against someone acting heelish. Really sells the drama of the situation.

Gorilla: "What do you have of your own, Jess?" Ventura: "... And here comes Brutus!" I always thought of this quote when watching Bobby Roode in TNA. He had Terry Taylor's robe (legit, google image it), Rick Rude's last name (even if it is Bobby's real last name), Ted Dibiase's gimmick and Hunter Hearst Helmsley's look. He had nothing of his own. On topic, I always loved Jesse and Gorilla's commentary. They just played so well into each other. It was like a bar fly bringing his water drinking friend to the bar and them going back and forth for a few hours with opposite beliefs and little in common but just being enjoyable to anyone listening.

Honestly? A lot of Tazz's calls. Sometimes dude would get flat out weird, like when he talked about Kizarny sipping sizzurp with the bearded lady, or his infamous "GET SOME KIDS!!!" call during the WWE Draft. Or probably my favorite, when The ECW Zombie comes out on the first WWECW, and starts moaning into the microphone... "Riveting stuff, right there." Tazz as the orange cartoon geek commentator in WWE was actually pretty entertaining a lot of the time. He was a more competent Booker T, in that he had more of value to say but also often spun off into his own surrealist universe. And when he chose to stop giving a f*** he was hilarious. I like that he was basically Red Hook JR sometimes, with 'Rocketbustah' instead of 'Slobberknocker.'

Cole after Foley won the belt is phenomenal, probably his best moment in wrestling. Lawler was great in that moment too.
JR when Simmons won the title

Jim Ross screaming over War Games at GAB '87, "You will never see action like this again!" His commentary through that whole match gave it this feel that it was one of the most epic moments in wrestling.

Macho was my favorite wrestler and I was legit thinking that it would be the last time I would ever see him. Ahh, to be able to toggle that naivete on again I watch wrestling....

Another cool thing about Cole calling the WM 30 main event was him going from referring to DB as Bryan or Daniel Bryan to just flat out cheering, "Come on, Daniel!"

It's cliche, but "CLIMB THE LADDER, KID. MAKE YOURSELF FAMOUS" was the moment a star was born, in my opinion. It's a damn shame that Jeff didn't get himself together around that timeframe, because the combo of JR's commentary and 'Taker finally raising his arm, while shaking his head in disbelief at Hardy's guts should have been the moment that absolutely MADE Hardy then and there

32 years later, and I can still recite parts of this to this day. This needs to be transcribed finally...
"Well you can't help but reflect on the past relationship of these two...when you look back to the past, I mean these two men Andre and Hogan...they were like brothers! I mean, each helping the other out along the way, ensuring they were seeing things the right way. I can remember when Hulk Hogan was attempting to become champion of the world, and Andre the Giant right there at his side all the way. (at this point, Andre has been announced and he and Heenan are coming down) I can remember Hulk talking about how he chose Andre as his role model, in his quest for the title. How Andre would conduct himself in the company of children, his kindness to them. How he would show his sense of fair play, in as well as out of the ring. His enormous pride in himself, and for mankind. (takes an ever so short pause before continuing, the disgust sneaking in there...) But I'll tell you...boy, has Andre taken a detour. And don't just blame Andre's conduct on Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, because down deep! (He is getting borderline Mr. McMahon here...) Andre HAD TO HARBOR RESENTMENT! HE HAD TO HARBOR JEALOUSY! And whatever dark secrets Andre holds in his heart, not just Hulk but I think I can speak for almost every fan in the world...we've all been thrown to the mat by Andre's recent actions!"
