Which WWE woman was more over at her peak: AJ Lee from 2012 to 2014 or Becky Lynch today?

I love AJ and think in some ways she’s under appreciated, the answer is definitely Becky.

I’d say Asuka, Rousey and Charlotte are also more over now than AJ at her peak.

Good and popular though AJ Lee was, the answer is Becky and it is not even close.

This will be really one sided and with good reason.

Crowd reactions were similar but in terms of mainstream attention? Becky wins it.

AJ Lee was really over so it's nothing against her, but Becky.

AJ Lee was over. Legitimately. For like a good year.
But because of limitations on AJ’s booking, and how exceptional Becky is, it’s not even close.

Becky, Becky, Becky! Becky is Micheal Jackson circa 1983, AJ wishes she was Rockwell!

4-6 million people were watching Raw when AJ Lee was the focal point. That should count for something.

Another thing is they haven't had to link Becky to 3 of the main guys on the roster.

I just think it is a factor that 2 to 3 times more people watched the shows back then. I did not say AJ is conclusively more popular because the show was more popular.

AJ Lee was popular and over, but Becky has been like the top star overall in the past 6 months. She might even be maineventing Wrestlemania.

AJ Lee was the first big female star of this era.
Becky was the first female star to be THE man.

AJ was extremely popular in her prime but I'd have to give the nod to Becky. It's honestly not fair, AJ Lee was a victim of her era and I feel that she could have captured the same magic that Becky did if she was competing in this era of women's wrestling. Despite her success AJ still remains one of the biggest 'what if' stories in wrestling to me.
