Deaf pro wrestler CM Punk Mighty Mouse Neville Shaved head repackaged Ric Flair Edge as Sexton Hardcastle Incest couple Paul Burchill and Katie Lea That storyline about murdering midgets that Mick Foley pitched Harlem heat as slaves. Gay hairdresser Kalisto Yet all of these are preferable to Commissioner Corbin.

CM Punk picking ROH over TNA. If he stayed there, they would’ve jobbed him out to Raven and then became random x division guy without any purpose or direction.

In other words, scenarios where someone almost made a mistake that in retrospect turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I read that Francine once upon a time was called up by the WWF for a potentially brutal gimmick called 'Sister Love.' prowrestling.net/artman/publish/InterviewHighlights/article1004414.shtmlConsidering what THAT could have been in a time before WWF had to look in the mirror and make changes, and considering that Francine was a key cog in ECW..... That gimmick sounds brutal but unfortunately Francine lost an opportunity to make more money than ever in her career instead of remaining in ecw and getting bounced checks. Normally, I'd agree, but at the same time, mid-90s WWF was a pretty flawed gig, too, so I guess it'd depend on when this would have happened.

Yes most of the ecw talent got really bad gimmicks and runs in the mid 90s at the wwf, but at least they got paid and were able to return to ecw and then bounce to wcw or Japan. Francine remained in ecw and sadly she never got another break to make real money.

Gay hairdresser Kalisto Harlem Heat as slaves has got to be the leader in the clubhouse for this topic. I mean how can this ever even come up in a creative meeting and how does it ever get approved? Hank Aaron would have made damn sure that WCW was shut down if this ever saw the light of day.

They were getting paid in ECW at that point too, it wasn't until the attitude era got rolling that cheques started bouncing. I'm not sure a lowercard WWF gig was particularly great at that point, guys were struggling to live on what the WWF was paying at the time once you factor in all the road expenses, at least in ECW most didn't have to travel all that far.

Sure the top echelon of ecw were paid better than the lower midcarders of the wwf in the disastrous mid nineties. Notice I said top echelon of ecw, Francine isn’t on that list. A girl as hot as Francine would’ve probably been placed on the Sunny tier during that time, and Sunny made a lot of f***ing money during that time, sadly she spend most of it on drugs but that’s another story for another day.

Bob Backlund joining Men on a Mission I've never heard of that being a plan (I'm not saying that it wasn't a plan, just saying I've never heard of it) but that would have been amazing! I loved Crazy Heel Bob Backlund so much.

IIRC they were supposed to be prisoners and not salves, but since they were managed by Colonel Parker, you had two chained black guys led by a southern gentleman. So, yeah.

Rob Van Dam as Glacier. As good of a in ring worker he maybe, don't think he be who he is now and wouldn't gotten a two year long title run.

Lance Storm being Eric Bischoff’s illegitimate son. Ric Flair becoming Spartacus. Goldust getting a boob job. Of all the weird thing Vince book in WWE, frozen nazi and a guy getting a boob job is where Vince draws the line at.

Hulk Hogan getting cold feet and not turning to establish the nWo. It would make no sense whatsoever for a longtime WCW guy to join "Outsiders" and hogan himself would have faded away much faster as the "same old, same old" continues

Vince ignoring Mick Foley's idea for Terry Funk to be WWE champion in 2006.

For what it’s worth, he didn’t despise the boob job angle and actually Vince considered it but at the end realized that it was the wrong kind of heat. Speaking of the wrong kind of heat, if they went along with this proposed match, the wwe would’ve died. The angry backlash from fans, networks, and sponsors would’ve left in masses. Apparently in wm 12, Roddy Piper’s original opponent was OJ Simpson. This was right after the murder trial ended and because they were desperate and losing money, this was the awful new generation era after all, Vince actually contacted OJ’s people and he accepted to do it. At the end Vince realized how bad it would look and how it would be received so poorly so he cancelled and put Goldust on OJ’s place.

Apparently once Francine actually got to WWE in 2006, Vince thought she was ugly. So I don't think she would have lasted very long even back then. We were robbed of not getting an incest storyline with the McMahons. I also wish Goldust got a pair of tits....wrestling is weird f***ing business, man. Oh he got them, you just had to wait until he was Black Reign in TNA.

Vince ignoring Mick Foley's idea for Terry Funk to be WWE champion in 2006. Wait, what? In Mick's Hardcore Diaries book, he says he pitched an idea for Terry Funk to be WWE champion. He spends a lot of time moaning that Vince ignored his idea. (someone can correct me if I'm wrong about this, I've only read it once because it's terrible)

Mick Foley wanting to quit after Montreal. While I think his health would be a bit better, he would be another struggling former ECW guy.

I thought the match was going to be Razor and Goldust but Hall was having issues so Piper replaced Hall.
